The Cub Cadet single-stage 21 in. gas snow thrower has a powerful 208 cc 4-cycle Cub Cadet OHV engine that delivers much more power than you might expect from a single-stage snow blower and it all begins with a simple push of a button. Just plug into a standard 110-Volt wall outlet, press the starter button and you’re ready to go. You can change the direction of where you throw snow right from the operator’s station. A convenient dual 2-way remote chute and pitch control joystick gives you immediate access and one-hand control without bending. A in-dash LED headlight clears your view so you can clear a nice, clean driveway at any time of day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product and nice features I've used this machine a couple times and once in about 4 inches of snow. It propels itself well and seems to move the snow a good distance. I am glad I chose the handle bar chute controls. It made re-positioning the chute on the fly easy and I needed to make those adjustments more than I thought I would. Starts well manually has ample power. My only complaint is that the scraper interferes with the paddle. It can't be adjusted any more and will either have to be trimmed or worn in. This contact causes a vibration. I am happy so far with this purchase. December 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by So Far So Good I received the unit and when I unboxed it I saw a black jagged plastic part in the box. It was a corner that had broken off the bottom panel (black panel on the back of the unit that covers the rear of the engine. I called HD and they were great. They ordered me a new part and are shipping it to me. I went ahead and assembled the unit in about 1/2 hour. One thing, make sure you have the chute control cables over top of the handle or the chute is hard to rotate. Once I rerouted the cables correctly the "joy stick" to swivel the chute works great. Another thing to note is when you prime it, there is a hole in the center of the primer bulb. Make sure you keep your thumb, or finger, over the hole when you are taking pressure off the bulb or or it does nothing. It took me few times starting the unit to realize that when you release pressure on the bulb it's sucking gas into the carb. Other gas tools I have with a primer bulb don't have any holes so you just push the bulb. Once I primed it correctly the unit starts on the first or second pull. I also tried the elec start and of course it works fine. The unit overall seems fairly well built for being mostly plastic. The motor sounds powerful enough, but I haven't any snow since I got it. It's light and easy to maneuver around and doesn't take up much storage space. Overall I'm very pleased with this unit and can't wait for the snow to start. I would have given it all 5's except it arrived with a broken part (which HD replaced), instructions could be better. November 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good features ! The 1x221LHP21 inch has very good features on a single stage blower Love the light& chute controls !! December 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this snowblower Free delivery was great. I easily put it together in a freezing garage with 6" of snow to plow outside! Controls are easy to use and intuitive. Very easy pull to start. Haven't used electric start yet because it's so easy to pull. LOVE the safety the headlight provides so oncoming traffic can see me, besides making it easier to see where I'm going at end of driveway where garage lights don't quite reach. April 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Terrific I used it for the first time yesterday 3/12/14 in Southern Michigan. The 8 - 13" had fallen on warm ground and it there was 1 to 2 inches of slush down near the concrete drive and sidewalk. My old blower would have failed to move this mess, but my new Cub churned right thru it, and slung the slush 10 feet without any plugging or loss of RPM due to lack of power. I can't imagine any blower working better because you can't get any better. Slush is awful to blow, but it was nothing for my Cub!! March 13, 2014
