Easy. Raise the handlebar being careful not to kink the lines, then tighten. Then attatch the chute. There are a couple of steps here, but very simple.

Answer:
Very easy! You will need a screw driver and a pliers needle nose will work best for the pins but a standard is just fine. I received mine crated, I broke down the sides assembled the handle and shoot then rolled the machine off the crate. Filled the gas, checked the oil and was up and running. Took maybe 45 min. It took most of that time to deal with the box/crate.

Starting the engine after running out of fuel and being a distance from an electric plug in could be a problem if there is no other means of starting.

It has a pull start. In fact, just to give it a try, I pulled it once and the engine came right on. So I haven't even tried the electric start yet.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worth every penney We jus had a big snow storm here in Michigan, and this baby plowed right through it - the snow was so deep, I could hardly walk through it, but this machine had no problems. Would absolutely recommend this - boy did this come in handy - worth every penney!!!!! Very glad I purchased it, I am a 57 woman and had absolutely no problems. February 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everything I asked for in a Snow Blower Long Island just got dumped with 30+ inches of wet snow. My Cub Cadet cut through it and spit it out with no issues at all, even the tough stuff that the plows left in my driveway apron. Starts right up even with the pull start that is effortless. The pistol grip chute control takes a bit to get used to but when you do its a major convenience. Heated hand grips a plus. Finger tip steering turns on a dime forward or reverse. My neighbors mentioned to me they never saw a snow blower throw the snow so far! January 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best of the best If you are looking for the easiest way to deal with the snow than this is the one you want March 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst purchase ever. I used this once. I plowed from my garage to the street (about 80 feet), and the auger stopped working. This thing is a piece of trash. January 24, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GOOD SNOW BLOWER, BUT MUST NOTE ON GRAVEL DRIVEWAYS WHICH MAY ALSO INCLUDE STONES, BEWARE TO FIRST PACK DOWN LOOSE GRAVEL & SNOW BEFORE USING. GOOD SNOW BLOWER, BUT MUST NOTE THAT ON GRAVEL DRIVEWAYS (WHICH MAY ALSO INCLUDE STONES), BEWARE TO FIRST PACK DOWN LOOSE GRAVEL & SNOW BY DRIVING OVER DRIVEWAY BEFORE USING SNOWBLOWER FOR THE FIRST TIME EACH WINTER. MY CUB CADET IMPELLER ASSEMBLY SEVERELY BENT WHEN A STONE LODGED AGAINST IT. CUB CADET SAYS IT CAN BE USED ON GRAVEL, BUT THEY DON'T WARN THAT STONES CAN BEND AND BREAK THE IMPELLER ASSEMBLY. SO DRIVE OVER FIRST SNOW FALL ON YOUR GRAVEL DRIVEWAY TO BE SURE YOU DON'T SCOOP UP ANY STONES AND "NOT BE COVERED" FOR EXTERIOR EFFECTS TO THEIR SNOWBLOWERS. FORTUNATELY, FOR ME HOME DEPOT SEEMS TO BE FIXING IT FOR FREE BY SHIPPING IT TO TEXAS FOR IMPELLER REPAIR. I ALREADY PAID $1,149.00 FOR IT 1-2015. NOW I'M SUPPOSE TO PAY ANOTHER $600.00 APPROXIMATELY. I ONLY USED THIS UNIT 4 TIMES BEFORE IT BROKE. December 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well Easy to use. It was easy to assemble. The materials are of good quality. I am very happy with the product. January 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by VERY GOOD PRODECT JUST WHAT I WANTED IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING - NO SNOW YET WHEN IT SNOWS I WILL BE ABLE TO WRITE MORE MAYBE October 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good delivery, good assembly, no snow The machine was delivered on time and the driver thoughtfully put the box in my garage. Good start, next uncrating and doing the "some assembly required" part was not too challenging, about 45 minutes did the trick. We have only had a very minor snow since and have not given the machine a fair trial. I did find that the chute for dispensing the snow was somewhat difficult to turn from side to side. I hope we do not get a good size snowstorm between now and next December but if we do I will amend this review. April 7, 2015
