Answer:
I purchased the Cub Cadet 3X 26 this morning. We just had to take the snow blower out of the box to fit it in the back of my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The box was about 2 inches too tall to clear the tailgate opening. The box might have fit if turned on its side, but with the snow blower potentially being pre-filled with oil, "this end up" is a direction that I preferred to follow.

if you can lay down the rear seats, it may fit. It is heavy though; you'll need an additional person to help load and unload.

About 36" wide, 44" tall and five to six feet long. A wood pallet forms the bottom of the box (worth keeping the pallet). Better have a couple friends and a BIG SUV. This beast is heavy. You may want to have it delivered....

There is a "commercial" model that comes with a steel chute. I have to question if that's really all its cracked up to be, though. Yeah, a steel chute is tougher than plastic, but it also peels, rusts, and snow sticks to it in a way that doesn't happen with plastic. I'm still debating whether I will try to replace the plastic chute if mine breaks with another of the same or would try to obtain (or make) Read More

Yes, but, unfortunately, it's next to useless. The engine is so huge that it pretty much blocks your view of anything in front of the machine. It does little more than let you see the back of the engine and the discharge chute in the dark. You may want to wear a headlamp or rig up some additional lighting if you plan to use the machine after the sun goes down.

The center light on the machine is bIocked by the shute. I disconnected the original light and added two LED driving lights from an auto supply store for under $25. I mounted the two LED lights on each side of the machine.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 190 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 3X 26 in. 357cc 3-Stage Electric Start Gas Snow Blower with Power Steering and Heated Grips The 357cc engine produces more than double the horsepower of a 208cc, which gives this machine plenty of throwing power (especially heavy, wet snow). If that were not enough, the power (zero turn) steering is just AWESOME! After busting my back on a 208cc 2 stage for years, I very highly recommend this machine. Easy to assemble, easy to operate, and easy on the back. Highest recommendation! February 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product I love the cub cadet 3x 26in. Super powerful and is amazing. Great shipping also! August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great snowblower with lots of power Bought this anticipating New England storms. Shortly after, received snow and put the machine to work. Worked like a charm and cut through the plow pile like butter. Very strong machine, well built. Can't wait for more snow! January 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This thing is a beast! Four of my neighbors and I pooled our money to purchase this snow blower. Our last one lasted 19 years and we thought that it was time to replace it. We bought it in December 2015 and it wasn't long before we had a 29" snowfall. I never bothered with the pull start initially (after stopping for gas, it started right up with the pull starter). This snow blower handled the snowfall as if it were only 6"" of snow! It's real test came after the county plowed in our driveways, but this thing didn't even flinch! I'm almost looking forward to the next snowfall! My only complaint is that the assembly instructions could have been a little clearer. March 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by expecting great things We ordered the snowblower after a very heavy wet snowstorm almost completely overpowered our 22" Yard Machine snowblower. Since we received our Cub Cadet we have not gotten any snow! I am thrilled with the purchase. It assembled as the instructions indicated and it has eliminated any need to ever use it. It seems to be worth every penny, as it looks like I will never have to use it. Now if I can only buy gas for my truck that I will never have to replace everything will be swell! Would have given it 5 stars but I don't know if it actually works as well as the video seems to suggest....maybe next year. March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This was a "Beast" going through the Blizzard 2016... We got dumped with over 30 inches of snow and much higher in the drifts. This blower throws the snow farther than anyother snow blower being used in my neighborhood. Even went under snow that was higher than the front chute, backup and it falls and can be blown. Used it four or five times during the storm, made a car width path down the court to the plowed secondary road. Excellent even on the snow plowed in front of my driveway by the county. So this is the first use, but I'm optimistic about continuing use as this was the worst snow we've had in many years. Haven't tested the electric start, pull starts easy enough with only a couple of pulls. February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Still waiting The directions were a little spotty. They were an amalgamation of 4 types of snow blowers with different options so you have to be pretty adept at figuring things out. The directions would be much better if they were focused on the particular model and if the pictures were a little bigger. That being said, the unit went together fairly easily. It started right up and everything operated properly, and even though the wooden crate was broken, nothing on the unit itself took damage. We didn't have any more snow after I bought this unit so I'll have to wait till next year to see how well it actually blows the snow. March 8, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bought the 26" 3x with 4 way joy stick just in time for 1-20-2016 blizzerd works fantastic no problem clearing 22" of snow even the stuff the plow leaves at end of driveway 150' drive way no problem UNTIL joystick stopped moving chute from side to side now i have to reach over bar to move it by hand what a pain in the butt will probaly take back to home depot its a shame cause it was great till then would have given 5 stars if not for that January 25, 2016
