Bought one last year. Was super excited about the "3" stage. That's just a gimmick, the three stage is no better than a two stage.I broke a dozen shear pins in an hour in light snow. Even more in heavy snow. Then spent hours replacing them, which isn't easy. Soooo disappointed in this machine. I sold it this spring after one season.stay away from it, however I am giving cub one more chance as I bought a two stage this week, time will tell!

The 357cc engine produces more than double the horsepower of a 208cc, which gives this machine plenty of throwing power (especially heavy, wet snow). If that were not enough, the power (zero turn) steering is just AWESOME! After busting my back on a 208cc 2 stage for years, I very highly recommend this machine. Easy to assemble, easy to operate, and easy on the back. Highest recommendation!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nymako Great snowblower with lots of power
Bought this anticipating New England storms. Shortly after, received snow and put the machine to work. Worked like a charm and cut through the plow pile like butter. Very strong machine, well built. Can't wait for more snow!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 14Voyager This thing is a beast!
Four of my neighbors and I pooled our money to purchase this snow blower. Our last one lasted 19 years and we thought that it was time to replace it. We bought it in December 2015 and it wasn't long before we had a 29" snowfall. I never bothered with the pull start initially (after stopping for gas, it started right up with the pull starter). This snow blower handled the snowfall as if it were only 6"" of snow! It's real test came after the county plowed in our driveways, but this thing didn't even flinch! I'm almost looking forward to the next snowfall!
My only complaint is that the assembly instructions could have been a little clearer.

We got dumped with over 30 inches of snow and much higher in the drifts. This blower throws the snow farther than anyother snow blower being used in my neighborhood. Even went under snow that was higher than the front chute, backup and it falls and can be blown. Used it four or five times during the storm, made a car width path down the court to the plowed secondary road. Excellent even on the snow plowed in front of my driveway by the county. So this is the first use, but I'm optimistic about continuing use as this was the worst snow we've had in many years. Haven't tested the electric start, pull starts easy enough with only a couple of pulls.

We ordered the snowblower after a very heavy wet snowstorm almost completely overpowered our 22" Yard Machine snowblower. Since we received our Cub Cadet we have not gotten any snow! I am thrilled with the purchase. It assembled as the instructions indicated and it has eliminated any need to ever use it. It seems to be worth every penny, as it looks like I will never have to use it. Now if I can only buy gas for my truck that I will never have to replace everything will be swell! Would have given it 5 stars but I don't know if it actually works as well as the video seems to suggest....maybe next year.

The directions were a little spotty. They were an amalgamation of 4 types of snow blowers with different options so you have to be pretty adept at figuring things out. The directions would be much better if they were focused on the particular model and if the pictures were a little bigger. That being said, the unit went together fairly easily. It started right up and everything operated properly, and even though the wooden crate was broken, nothing on the unit itself took damage. We didn't have any more snow after I bought this unit so I'll have to wait till next year to see how well it actually blows the snow.
