Works great. One of the bags had a crack in the plastic frame when it was delivered. Customer service quickly sent a new one.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Oldtimer Good purchase but bagger is intended to be left on
As a bagger for a riding mower this does a good job. We are entering the fall season with leaves to get up and this does the job. The reason this doesn't get 5 stars is this bagger system is really intended to be put on and left on. If you only use this to collect leaves in the fall as I do then it's a bit of a hassle to remove and then reattach. The bags obviously remove easy. The collection tube from the mowing deck to the hood over the bags is a little tricky to remove. The hood can be removed but the design doesn't look like it would hold up to being removed and reinstalled a lot. This also comes into play if you have limited storage space for the mower with the bagger on it. I previously had a different Cub Cadet mower with bagger. It wad a garden tractor style. That bagging system was better built and very easy to quickly disassemble if you didn't want to use it. That same style of bagger could have been retained for the RZT series mowers but wasn't. My guess is cost reduction. If you want a bagger to leave on your mower you'll be very happy with this one. if you need to remove it then this design isn't as good as it used to be.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MiJT Lawn & Leaf Bagger for 42 in. RTZ-S
Assembly was quick and seamless after pre-reading instructions. Quality is good but I have only used a couple times since recently installing, I will hold final judgement on overall quality when this years fall lawn/leaf clean up is complete. This is a Cub Cadet product and I am expecting great things.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AlphaBuilder Works well for picking up grass clippings
The product works well at picking up grass clippings. I did not upgrade to the high lift blades, and it still works well with the standard blades in all conditions except when the grass is wet.. It took about 30 minutes to install with basic hand tools. It is easy to maintain and to dump the grass clippings. Care must be taken by the user to not continue to cut grass until the bags have been to over-filed. When the bags get overfilled, the chute tubes clog and it requires that the two chute tubes be dismantled and fully cleared to restore it to proper operation. This is not a difficult task, but takes a few minutes. This is not a problem with the unit, but just something the operator needs to pay attention to. The only change that I'd like to see to this product is for the bags that catch the clippings to be larger.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CUBBY WORKS WELL EASY ASSEMBLY
Went together very easy. Good instructions for build/install. Not the best quality compared to older CC baggers. Works as it is intended, easy to flip lid & empty bags.
Instructions told me I didn't need the counterweight on my RZT S model. I improvised and installed front counterweight anyway, due to having a VERY steep hill on my property, and I feel more comfortable having the extra weight on front due to hill. Only required drilling two holes to mount the weight on front.

Works great, easy install. Not as good of quality as the old cub cadet products but nothing is great quality any more. The bags are plastic not steel but work ok. Overall good bagger. Have to buy weight system with bagger that doesn't get used on the S model. Should sell bagger without weight system for the s model.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by cmarino95 Constantly clogs
I have a Cub Cadet RZT-S 46in
This thing constantly clogs. Not sure if it's just because the grass is too long, but I have to stop every couple of strips, open the back, take off both tubes and shake out the stuck grass.
I usually mow 1/2 my yard with it disconnected just to avoid the clogging, but then it blows grass everywhere because there is no cover over the hole.
I wish this worked and an open to any tips/tricks that others are using to prevent this massive inconvenience.
