Bought the bagger for my new XT1 LT 46in mower. Not very hard to assemble, but bags are very small and cheaply made, the main shoot is 2 pieces, the upper piece is not made of solid plastic, so I was getting a lot of dust coming from this section. If you have a clog it is a pain to dismantle.
Last but not least, the bagger frame hooks on 2 nuts on the back of the mover, once the bags were full if I hit any bumps the whole bagger frame came disconnected from mower. this happen to me 3 times the first day I used it. I sent it back to the store going to try the lawn sweeper.

I bought this for my husband's birthday in mid-October well before anyone knew Hurricane Sandy would be hitting. We are now cleaning up in the aftermath of the storm and this bagger is a lifesaver. It easily attached to the mower and despite the crazy amount of leaves and debri from the storm, it easily cleaned a path through the mess. Such a timesaver with free shipping and fast delivery too. I only wish I bought it sooner!

I really do not raking leaves, it was my hope this bagger would suck up, mulch and bag the leaves for me. It did all that with ease. Putting the bagger on the tractor was very easy, and easy to take off when the time came to store it for the winter.

I have about a one acre yard and have been using this bagging attachment for about a year. So far, so good!
Here's what you need to know:
1) It takes two people to install. One person to hold the attachment up against the Cub Cadet while the other mounts it in place.
2) The bags fill up fast. This isn't a complaint - just a fact. If you're using it primarily in the fall as an alternative to raking, give yourself plenty of time to stop every few minutes to empty the bags.
3) There is a cheap foam gasket used to hold the upper tube in place. It was ripped to shreds after the first couple uses but hasn't seemed to cause any legitimate issues (yet).
4) People complaining that they can't see how full the bags are simply need to pay attention. All you have to do is reach back and poke the bag from time to time and you'll get a feel for how full it is. Be warned - if you DON'T empty the bags when needed, the whole chute will fill up with grass and leaves and you'll have to take the side tubes apart and dump those along with the bags. It's frustrating the first couple times it happens but once you start paying attention, you'll know when the bags are getting close to full.
Overall I definitely recommend getting a bagging attachment if you have a riding mower. This is the only one I've used but it seems to do the job just fine. There really aren't a lot of options for specific mowers so don't waste to your time researching alternatives. If you have a Cub Cadet mower with the 42 or 46 inch deck, you're going to get this bagger. The alternative is some weird looking gigantic bag that drags behind the mower but I can't imagine that works well.

I read other reviews prior to purchasing this bagger, and they were pretty much spot on. The catch bags could be bigger and I did experience some clogging in the chute. Despite these minor inconveniences, it is so much easier than raking leaves and grass. My lawn looks so much better after using this product!! I am looking forward to using it next spring and see how much better the lawn looks in the summer!! It is a little pricey for what you get, but overall works well on my 1.1 acre lot!

Bagger mounting assembly has a tendency to bounce off the shoulder mounting bolts on the tractor rear end. The bolts don't tighten and the inverted "J" hooks pop off the bolts. Also the method of attaching the assembly to the hitch mount is a Clevis pin and doesn't hold the mounting assembly tight enough to keep it from bouncing around and off the bolts. Attachment would have been better served by using a carriage bolt and plastic wing nut like the other attachment methods on the assembly. This results in the bagging assembly being dragged on the ground behind the tractor.
