I expected something more durable than PLASTIC!!! EXPENSIVE for a plastic cover that keeps falling off!!! I'm not very happy with the quality!!!

The diffuser cover has a loose fit and grass still comes out the chute! Doesn't attach to the deck very well.

Other reviews have said that the mulch plug tended to blow off. I bought this kit in early 2014 and the plug is secured with a strap and a bolt. I don't see how it can blow off and I've had no problems with that. I have seen some clippings blowing out under the left side of the deck, opposite the plug, but not much.
My only complaint is that $89 seems high for the kit. Two blades are $46 for cub cadet brand but other brands can be found for less. That makes the relatively small plastic plug cost $40. Too high in my opinion.
Also, make sure you have a good long cheater wrench or an impact wrench handy to remove the old blades. They are put on very tightly.

I am very disappointed with this kit. The blades are fine but the shoot cover doesn't stay on and in the time you do have before it falls off it leaks like a sieve. I have added a bolt through the housing to be able to use it.

I had trouble keeping the plastic cover in place, it kept coming off, especially if I hit a twig or a large clump of grass. I finally took the pin off my bagger kit, drilled a hole in the cover, and reattached it to the mower, in order for it to stay on. It still has a tendency to ride up and lets grass out the bottom, but all-in-all it does mulch. Needs to be redesigned to be made out of metal and at a more resonable price.
