54 in. 24 HP Kawasaki Twin-Cylinder Engine Zero-Turn Riding Mower-DISCONTINUED is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mower Moved from a garden tractor to this zero turn. Still getting used to it but I definitely like the way it mows. Excellent speed and moveability. Only complaint is the turf saver tires. They provide very limited traction, particularly in damp conditions. Kawasaki engines starts easily and is quiet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Terrific Mower I bought the 54" cut with the 24 horse power kawasaki engine. I cut about 1 1/2 acres and this machine cut my mowing time by more than half. I love the way it handles but be careful on hills it tends to slide. This is a great machine glad I purchased this one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cub Cadet is GREAT Carrier was extremely helpful on getting it off the truck. Love the mower and its capabilities. One flaw. It had low tire pressure and one o the rear tires is flat after one mowing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good machine for the price. I purchased this machine in the Spring of 2010 and am now using it for my 3rd season. I'm quite pleased with it as it has performed very well for the past two years and makes an excellent, even cut, especially when I keep the blades sharpened. One of the features that I really like about it is that the deck is easily removed for additional cleaning and maintenance. The engine is solid and changing the oil is a snap. The one thing that I did was add some lights for night-time mowing. I purchased some basic fog lamps at my local auto-supply and mounted them on either side of the plastic wheel covers, about ankle-level. There has been an unusual rattle that I don't care for all that much at start up and when the engine is idling low, but it doesn't seem to adversely affect the engine's performance. The throttle mechanism does seem a little cheap and loose and could have been a little better quality. It's also a little choppy on bumpy ground, so if you have a bad back, this isn't the machine for you. The other thing about this machine is that nowhere does anyone actually carry the replacement belt in the store ... they have to be ordered on-line. Not sure why they wouldn't carry this item in the store, but have the replacement blades. Go figure! The other thing that I did was remove that plastic grass deflector as it was just in the way and would cause the grass to pile-up more in clumps, especially at the ejection spot. Leaving it open allows the grass to eject freely and disperses it more evenly ... better for your lawn and your machine. The hose attachements are pretty nice for cleaning the underside of the deck, but it still should be periodically removed and scraped out where build-up occurs in spots not cleaned by the hose attachements. If you don't, it'll rust underneath where the grass cakes-up as those clumps retain moisture, but that goes for just about any mower deck. In all, a pretty good buy for the money spent. I do like the 3 year warranty, something that was key in my decision. We'll see how this is at year 5 and 7. If I would've been able to spend just a little more, I would have opted for the Ariens, which is just built more solidly and appears to have a more forgiving ride, but I was pushing the envelope with this machine at $3750 (by the time you add taxes and get it out the door).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsatisified Customer When we received the product it had already been used and had oil all over it and in it. Then we had to fight to get it removed from the property because it was delivered with oil it. I will never purchase a major appliance from Home Depot again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great machine I have had this product for about 2 years and it has always been dependable. I mow roughly 3.5 acres when the grass needs cutting. Little hard to find parts but they are out there, home depot does not carry anything for this machine, but tractor supplies does or on line.
