Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 42 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This mower is awesome! This little rider packs a punch! Wish I had gotten this mower sooner! Very stable and comfortable to ride. This mower is built on the same chassis at the Troy-Built 30", but I would definitely pick this one. The seat is upgraded and very comfortable, as well as the rubberized steering wheel. Set up was very easy and I also ordered the bagger. Plenty of power! This thing has the power to cut way faster than anyone would be comfortable with. Very maneuverable and easy to see. Was a little jerky to start, but with continued use it went away. Very solid machine and I am very glad I purchased it! You won't be sorry with this purchase! June 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A great mower that gets the job done. I like the size of this mower since we have only about a third of an acre to mow. The one thing that I don't really like is where the gear shift is located; I would prefer that it be on the side as opposed to the middle. The mower looks nice, cranks easy and is easy to clean up afterwards. May 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleased so far Let me just say that on the same piece of property I owned a 42" entry level John Deere and a 28" rear engine Snapper. Both very good products. The JD was too big for my yard with many trees and took up to much space in my garage. Next, bought my neighbors almost new Snapper since he outsourced his lawn care. The Snapper is a quality piece, all metal, but had too many safety features on it which you feel like you are juggling for your 1st few times. Also the cable clutch is very jerky, my neck was taking a beating. It also is slow and I didn't like the steering wheel. Sold it in the fall. So far the Cub Cadet is perfect. Faster then the Snapper. Turns better too. Started right up after assembly. Was not expecting all the plastic, but it does make it lighter and easier to push then the Snapper. I guess won't rust either. Seat and steering wheel very comfortable. I will make an update after the season of mowing. April 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase I bought a push mower until I searched and researched for a rider that would work for me. My husband passed away in March and I havent had to mow the yard for 37 years, so, this was going to take time to find the right one for me. The one my husband had was going to be replaced and I didnt care for it so I gave it to the neighbor who didnt have a lawn mower and now they mow their grass; I think that was a good investment. I liked the toro but it was to expensive and had more than I needed. I knew I wanted a rider with the rear engine this way I could see what I was doing and fellt like I had more control when mowing. I decided on this one and I it was a great buy. Its not to big not to small, comfortable, easy to control. The cut is really good and so far changing the oil has been easy. When I looked at reviews it was important to read the reviews from the women since I am one it would probable be more accurate of a review and I could see if there was any problems with it. I can say I havent had any and it has been very easy to operate. I dont have any big hills but what I do have have been easy to mow. May 5, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't Fit I was told it would be good for me, but it is horrible. Very uncomfortable single Amish man like me. September 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding function and design Sirs, Two years ago I bought a similar rear-engined riding mower at a lower price from a major national chain. It had so many more shortcomings such as, cutting height was too low or two high, would not mow in reverse, no bagger available, and many. I bit the bullet and am simply amazed at the completely amazing function of the CC-30. It is STRONG, and all the issues were cured over the previous barely used rider, which I sold. I simply love the CC-30. I am a "believer." Boxerboy August 31, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My CC-30 doesn't start. I have to jump start it with a battery charger. September 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Post season review update I just finished the mowing season so I thought I would add an updated review. After using the mower for the whole season I can back up my earlier review that this is a great mower. Now that mower has been "broken in" so to speak, the motor runs strong and smooth. When I first got the mower the clutch/breaks were a little jumpy but that has smoothed out which makes the unit very easy to operate. Im looking forward to next season already. I would definitely buy this mower all over again. November 7, 2014
