Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very happy with this blower This blower was very easy to set up. Runs quiet, and is very powerful. I'm very satisfied with the blower. I've run it up and down the driveway, and back and forth across the lawn. We have a rough, very sloped, lawn, and it ran fine. Significantly more power than the backpack blower I had been using. Much quieter than the leaf vac I had also been using. One thing to be aware of. We live in the woods, so I can just blow the leaves down into the trees. If you have a neighbor's lawn right next to you, it might be difficult to really control where the leaves end up. I'm impressed with this Cub Cadet blower. Wish I would have bought it years ago. Home Depot was very good to work with. October 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A good powerful blower After years of using a hand held blower, I finally bought a push blower. This is good powerful blower, but my only drawback is the 90 degree blower chute. It makes it very awkward to push the leaves in one direction. I recommend you remove the chute letting the air blow out the side rather than in front. October 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice I had rented a Little wonder and it did a great job, so I figured I would by one . this was as close as I could find to it and it worked the same . must I say anymore. October 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Well worth the money For the last 15 years I've had a small hand-me-down walk behind blower that served me well, but it was time to replace it. I chose this unit partially because I did a part search on this and other models, and I found that every part is readily available for the cub cadet unit. This is the main reason I don't fix my old blower (no parts for it anywhere). I've done my leaves in NJ this whole season with the cub cadet and this machine made it very easy. It starts easily, runs quietly for a large gas engine (my ears used to ring after using my old 3.5 hp briggs/stratton unit), it has a variable throttle (good in tight places where you don't need as much power or want to control the air flow) and you can direct the stream of air down, level or up. I've learned that aiming it down really loosens any matted down debris, but it tends to fly higher. Aiming the air direction high keeps the pile closer to the ground. There is also a separate chute attachment to blow straight forward instead of to the side. For the $ it does the job very well and is flexible in its use.The only complaints I might have are that it's a little heavy to push (heavier than my old unit) and I wish the chute to make it blow forward wasn't detachable, but a fixed part that you could direct yourself. My old unit had the front/side air diverter on a hinge/spring that you could flick with your foot to switch between side blowing and front blowing. Otherwise, the quality and usefulness of this machine is excellent. I actually look for opportunities to use it since it does what it's supposed to so well. Looking at other blowers with similar features are more than double the price, and others in the price range don't offer all the features of this cub cadet. I find it excellent for residential use.
