The engine runs on gasoline. You add about 40 ounces of Cub Cadet provided oil to the engine at assembly.

Sorry missed your question from last year. No, engine is four cycle, gas only. However, you will have to add oil to the engine and change it regularly (check owner's manual) like a lawn mower. Hope this helps.

Answer:
It takes straight gasoline and doesn't require mixing oil with it. Note that you will need to put oil in the engine after taking delivery (before initial start up..it ships without oil in it) and they include it in the box. with the blower. Instructions are included on how to do this, it's easy to do.

Answer:
This is a 4-stroke engine. That means gas only in the tank and oil in it's own reservoir.
Also - no more than 10% ethanol by volume in the gas.

Basically yes. I cut both sides of the back of the shipping box and laid on the floor and rolled the machine out. I slipped on the handle and fastened with two screws, filled with gas and oil and went to work.

Answer:
There are three things you need to assemble. You have to install the handle, which is two bolted screws, two wing nuts, and you're good to go. You have to install the side air deflector...not sure what use this is, as I prefer to blow straight out. Have to add gas and oil. No more than 30 minutes from box to yard.

Hello. I just bought the JS1150 at Home Depot. It was a floor sample unit. I was able to get the owners manual off line and print it. But nothing comes up on the engine how can I get copy covering the engine. Also the chute was missing from the unit. How can I get one for it. The unit runs great wish I bought one years ago.
Thank you, Robert Baker

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product for moving leaves and clearing a large driveway Cub Cadet Blower Bought this product on-line was delivered to store 7 days later. Store personnel helped load it. Easy to assemble, included necessary oil and uses regular unleaded gasoline. Has a padded handle that reduces vibration. Unit has a choke unlike less expensive units helps in cold weather. (Should be in product information on line). Bought this unit to replace a older Honda engine unit that failed after 7 years. We have a 660 Ft. driveway and lawn area that we use it on so when in use it's going for a hour or better. Unit has bigger rear wheel and forward venting option good things to have. I am satisfied with the initial performance and features. Another good feature is the fuel overflow indicator which will prevent overfilling. August 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product!!!! Finally a nice piece of equipment that has the bells and whistles you don't expect. Has a built in fuel shut-off valve, that I was expecting to have to install myself, metal gas tank and heavy duty cap. Cub Cadet has made a quality product here. The locking swivel wheel makes all the difference in the world!!! Blows my driveway clean, wet or dry. This is a huge time saver!!! May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cleaning up Used it once so far and it seems to do the job better than by hand! March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Yard Work Assistant Purchased the JS1150 wheeled blower this past fall. It replaced one that failed. The Cub blower is a great machine. It is easy to start, has big tires and is easy to roll and the pivoting front wheel makes it easy to maneuver. The air output can move large piles of leaves. I am pleased with this machine. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great blower We have a cottage in the woods an have a zillion leaves. We purchased this blower an what a dream! Now I am asking myself why we didn't get this year's ago. It was easy to put the handle on. Put oil an gas in it an off we went. It started the first pull. We had wet leaves an dry leaves an it blew them 5 to 6 feet . They were 8 inches to 12 inches deep. So needless to say saved us hours if raking an dragging. If you have lots of leaves get this machine an save yourself lots of work. It has nice big tires on the back pretty good size tire on the front compared to other blowers we looked at. It also comes with a chute that you can blow leaves forward . November 2, 2015
