Customer Reviews

Deluxe Can Opener-DISCONTINUED is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great opener I recieved this for my birthday last month and just love. I always used the old fashioned type that never seemed to work right. Wish I had this years ago.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works, for as long as it lasts. Which isn't long. The reviews of the Cuisinart SCO-60 that mention its lack of durability nearly always mention the detachable cutter/lever assembly. Ours has held up for over four years without breaking. But now our SCO-60 is also useless. The metal wheel that drives the can to open it is no longer rotating when the motor runs. Grabbing the wheel with my fingers I can feel something slipping, probably a plastic gear that has least that is what it feels like. There is no apparent way to get inside the SCO-60 to check this out or to replace the gear. So ours, too, is now an expensive paperweight. One star. And that's only because Home Depot does not permit ZERO stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Breaks easily Can opener blade and magnetic lid capture broke when I took it off to clean it the first time. Not a substantial product--I am back to the hand held less expensive devices.
