Grind and Brew 12-Cup Automatic Coffee Maker is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 84.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too bad it is on its way out This is a great coffeemaker for the price. I like the fact that it is able to keep the brewed coffee hot without cooking it to bitterness like so many coffee makers do. This does everything; Grinds the beans. brews the coffee and keeps it relatively fresh for a reasonably long time. You can do a grind and brew, or if you have some pre-ground coffee, you can bypass the grinding process. I am a coffee connoisseur and have tried them all. This does the job well and makes a nice countertop addition to your kitchen. It looks like this model is about to be discontinued so buy now while still available. The replacement model costs twice as much for the same features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase I ever made!! This coffee maker is my new best friend. Not only does it make superior tasting coffee, but it's so easy to use. Cleaning it is a snap. It starts my day off perfectly, with my coffee all ready for me. And, I really enjoy making a pot at dinnertime for guests as they rave over the taste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Works the same every time:. Put the beans in the hopper, fill with water, push one button and it does it all: Grinds beans, dumps grounds directly into filter basket, drips perfect coffee ready in 5-10 minutes. Easy to program as an aromatic alarm clock, how long to keep warm. Easy to pull apart two parts to clean grinder, parts fit back easily. Works without grinder too. There's really nothing to be desired, hands-down the best of its type, one of the best quality and most ingenious kitchen appliances ever invented. Rock solid, handsome, lifetime factory warranty. It's also two of the best gifts I ever gave, which my Uncle and best friend won't stop raving about. Who gets the next one?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the long brew time This is the second Grind & Brew I have owned. I had the original, and when that died I replaced it with this. I love the convenience of having the grinder and coffee maker in one, so that I can set it at night for the morning. The parts are a little bit of a pain to clean, but I'll take that for the fresh grind capabilities. The brew cycle takes around 10 minutes though, and I mean after the grinding is done. So that is a little long. All in all, I love this machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Coffee Maker Makes a great pot of coffee and I love the style of this coffee maker. I previously owned this model twice. Eventually had trouble removing the grinding cup as I've read in so many other reviews. Since I still prefer the look of this model over the other models on the market, so I purchased it again. This time, I read the instruction booklet which says to be sure the parts are dry before each use. So now I remove the grinding cup immediately after each use, rinse it out and let it dry before replacing, and guess what....no issues! Wish I had read the book with my first purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coffee If you want a great HOT cup of coffee I would recommend the Grind & Brew Coffee Maker. It grinds the coffee and brews at the same time to make the best coffee I've had at home and it's hot. But.... There is one drawback which may be a deal breaker for some...it does require maintenance. Which means after every brew the grinder cup should be rinsed out and dried before it's used again because the condensation leaves a sludgy residue in the grinder cup. Because of this, I contemplated returning the coffeemaker but after a couple of uses and enjoying the great coffee I figured it was an acceptable trade off for me. This coffee maker isn't like a "regular" coffee maker, it grinds your beans fresh! So a little maintenance should be expected and for me wasn't unreasonable. Cleaning the grinder cup and grinds basket isn't a big deal for me I just rinse it out and wipe it with a paper towel usually in the evening so it will be completely dry in the morning. (You'll want the grinder cup to be completely dry so the beans will be dry when they grind.) Cleaning takes less than 5 minutes. There is also an option to brew without using the grinder so if you don't want to mess with grinding beans or the clean up afterwards you can use it as a regular coffee maker as well. One thing I do think would be an improvement is the water level indicator. I'm used to the floating ball thingy on the outside of the other makers. On this one there is no indicator outside the unit so you have to look inside to see the water level markers. If making more than 8 cups it's easy to see the water level but if making less than that you have look all the way down inside the dark unit so the water level is harder to see. I hardly ever make less than 8 cups so it hasn't been an issue for me. The measurement markings on the glass carafe (4cups, 6 cups,) are there to indicate the brewed coffee level not the water level, so if you use the carafe to measure 8 cups of water, it won't measure 8 cups inside the unit. To compensate I measure 9 cups with the carafe so it measures 8 cups exactly inside the unit. Just a little FYI. I'm not sure if other coffee makers are like this but I noticed it on this one. So yes, there are some things to consider when purchasing this coffeemaker but the final product - enjoying an excellent cup of coffee may be worth the small inconveniences. Over all I'm very pleased with the coffee maker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was everything we thought it would be & more! My husband is a 'coffee' snob' and this was a Christmas gift and he loved it! I loved it being on sale plus free (quick) shipping! The machine works perfect and does what it says it will do. The kids got him 3 different kinds of whole bean coffee and we've all enjoyed him brewing us up some fresh coffee. Next year I think we are going to start roasting our own beans....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product grinds coffee fresh each pot. This is a nice coffee maker. It works well and makes delicious coffee from fresh beans every day. Grinder is noisy though.
