If this one's not good for "mesh underlayment" , which one is?
FYI i didn't mean to imply there's some kind of separate underlayment; these are 12 x12 of 2 " marble tiles on a mesh backing. will be going onto Duroc (over exterior ply)

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 42 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to work with...even for a rookie. I ended up using way more than I expected to, presumably because I laid it out thicker than I needed to. My only gripe is when I bought all my materials for my job back in July, there was no mention on the bags that this product was not appropriate for tiles with side > 15". In fact, the product description and picture online still make no mention of that limitation. When I went to HD to purchase additional bags, the bags say it is for 15" or less. I didn't want to change products, so I bought more bags of the Flex Bond. I will be very disappointed if the product fails October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The product works really well and holds really well. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent, except... A question mark exists when you combine price and workability for those working solo. It sets FAST forcing you to work FAST. It also does not store in airtight containers once mixed. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Back Splash Anchoring Mortar Accurately described in the label. Easy to mix to the right consistency. Holds the tile firmly on a vertical surface without sag. Within minutes the tile is there to stay. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great thin set Thin set was quick to mix and worked well with the stacked stone tiles we ordered. August 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointing, was it a bad bag? I got this thin set based on reviews for a tub surround. Mixing with recommended water ratio it was very thick and hard to work with and dried too fast. I put the tiles on and when I pulled one off barely any of the back had thin set on it. I pressed hard on the tile and used wood and a rubber mallet to even tiles. Onse I saw that there was no tile coverage I just scrapped all the tiles off and started over. July 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pergo wood laminate floors and area rug. My Pergo wood laminate floors and area rug are beautiful together they were easy to install and look like hard wood also very easy to clean I am very happy with the results. October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thin-Set Mortar Very easy to use, hold well. Easy cleanup. Back buttering mades for better adhesion of your tile. June 28, 2016
