I won't be easy. I mixed powered grout remover a tad strong. Make sure it's well ventilated. A scrounge pad and patience. It takes alot of work.

Answer:
This is a great product and it appears you didn't clean the surface sufficiently. Try Aqua Mix® Grout Haze Clean-Up, make sure you test it before applying. In the future, Fusion Pro drys quickly, make sure you wipe all excess.

Hydrochloric acid is usually sold in low concentration as muriatic acid. It will usually take off all kinds of grout haze , given enough time.

Hello Leanna. Very sorry for the situation with the grout, actually I was asked to answer due a review I posted about this product, I am a pro, I have had the same situation with the product, I'm guessing you waited too long to clean it, anyway 5 minutes is enough to get a mess and yes, to have the situation you have, I can not tell, I avoid the product but when used in very little projects I just try to start cleaning right after the application, always with the risk of washing grout away but due the fast curing time, it is the only way, it has a strong chemical that causes what you referred, I would recommend you contact manufacturer in order to find a compatible cleaner capable to remove the stains, don't use it again, in my pro opinion, use conventional grout, wait until totally cured and apply the best sealer you can find.

I plan on grouting 2 different tiling projects about 7 to 10 days apart ... and using the same container of grout. After I open and close the container for Project 1, will the grout harden and become unusable by the time I start Project 2? Both tiling projects will only take 30 minutes to complete.

Answer:
This is exactly why this product is so useful. You can open the container, grout Project 1, close it completely, and then grout Project 2. You could even do it if these projects were months apart, instead of only 10 days.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product --- Cleanup when applying can be difficult Product dries quickly and cleaning the excess off tile could not be done with standard grout cleanup products. The product the manufacturer suggests for clean up is not sold in Home Depot stores. However, someone in an online conversation recommended a spray latex paint remover. This product cleaned it up without too much elbow grease, did not hurt the tile finish and the result is great. We used the Fusion Pro grout because it never has to be sealed and cleans as easily as the tile. It has proven out on other floors in our home. Worth the effort if you are going to install tile. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Verdict Perfect entrance-way !!! And Tub Surround !!! Excellent warranty!!! Best So Far !!!!!!! April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Follow the instructions! This is unlike any other grout you may have used in the past. You must follow the instructions! The result is a stellar looking grout line that will never need maintenance. Very easy to install if you follow the instructions but you do have to stop and clean up the tile often. February 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A bit more picky but we'll see if it's worth it. This grout is much pickier than regular grout to use but supposedly it's worth it. I grouted my shower with my fiance and we had to wipe it down with a damp sponge but didn't go crazy with trying to get the haze off immediately as the grout was very difficult to keep in the grout lines if it was wiped even with the sponge. So I instead used the grout haze remover that home depot sells that they recommend using ~16 hours after applying the grout and it took a heck of a lot of scrubbing but the shower looks good. There were several spots where the grout wasn't put into the lines well so I went back a week later and applied more grout to those areas. Not sure how well it's going to hold up as they didn't cure together but we'll see. I've yet to use the shower but will update my review when I have. August 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great all in one grout A bit pricey, but the ease of use makes up for it for this DIY'er. It's has sealant in the pre-mix so no follow-up steps. Love it. August 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Check cure time! Tub says 3 days, but website says 7 days. Please check the cure time on this grout!! The tub says three days, but Custom's website says 7 days. I called technical support and confirmed that the cure time is indeed 7 days. Clearly Custom Buildiing Products has a problem on their hands. How can a product be expected to perform in the manner which is expected with conflicting cure times? Here is the cure time from the website. Curing Once grouting of walls is completed, remove the towels and dry off the tile and grout joints. The floor assembly must be dry for 24 hours before grouting. After grouting, allow the entire tile assembly to cure for seven (7) days before running water in the shower. April 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beware!! Bright white is not white!! My husband and I bought this grout for our white tile in our shower. To our surprise it is anything but white. It's more of a light tan.All that time and money spent and now our shower looks dingy. I dont how they can advertise this as bright white. I have used this company many times in both the sanded and non sanded white grout and it looks beautiful. I think company should pay to have my grout redone. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install This product was easy to install. WATCH THE INSTRUCTION VIDEO FIRST!!!!!! I ran into an issue because I had a fan running. It dried out the grout too fast. Once I turned off the fan, I had no more issues. Work in small areas and clean, clean, clean. July 2, 2015
