sealer doesn't stop your grout from getting dirty . If you get your grout cleaned when you get your carpet cleaned you shouldn't have a problem

Fusion Pro #122 Linen 1 Qt. Single Component Grout is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 96.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cure time! I agree with other reviews about cure time. I installed a tile shower pan and the grout is eroding after a couple months. Tech support informed me to wait 7 days on a shower pan which i did not. CBP would not send replacement grout. I will use this product again. It seems they have changed their tune on how long to let it dry. The tub says wait three days before exposing to water which i most likely adhered to as a I am a stickler for the directions. You need to put on the directions to wait seven days and should have sent me replacement tub of grout. I do like the grout and will use again but am not impressed with service after the sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent - if you follow some simple rules These are the rules ... 1. Use a tile sponge with a microfiber backing! 2. Clean off tile immediately doing a small patch! 3. Do not use on or let get onto porous surfaces! 4. Usual tile cookbook rules The product has a silicon component that is not easily removed once it dries. My daughter works in a design group that specifies the grout, but installers were sloppy and got it on a porous surface adjacent to the new tile work. That porous surface had to be removed and replaced. Because of the formulation, be sure to use the tile sponge that has the microfiber backing since it is important to clean off the tiles immediately after doing a small patch. (I discovered this sponge at Home Depot.) The microfiber on the firm sponge allows for immediate cleaning without removing grout from the joint. Just having a microfiber towel is not sufficient since that will affect the grout line. If you do not clean well and expect to just wipe of the haze the next day, be warned. Probably because of the silicon component it does not just wipe off with a wet towel the next day. By that time you have to use your fingernail or other method to remove any spots. Not a tragedy, but it is extra work. Wonderful product, if you use it with those tile sponges with the microfiber backing!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worthless - run away Shower floor keeps eroding. Last cure was over 7 days with 2 days to dry out before repair just in case. Lasted almost four weeks. Failed in two places today. This is the fourth repair. Called custom building products twice. Thinks the shower head (rainfall) is tooooo wet (geez guys really), or the floor substrate is the root cause. Already tried new quart of grout to rule out that problem. If they care about the head, then maybe it just cant handle water. Sort of has to don't you think? And what a pain in the you know what to clean off the tiles. Haze is a good cleanup job unless you buy the release product. I didn't part with cash, so this is a major waste of time and money. Over a year messing with this stuff. run away don't walk.

The ease of installation, excellence in color consistency, lack of waste, and that it never needs sealing makes it our go-to grout. Since it is virtually stain proof, our customers love it as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Follow the instructions We were almost turned off by some of the bad reviews, we followed the instructions on the container and advise from other positive reviews on here and were very pleased. We installed this over about 30 sq ft of glass and stone mosaic tile for a back splash, using about 3 quarts. Process that worked: 1. Seal the tile first, let dry 1-2 days 2. Lightly wet surface 3. Apply grout in small sections at a time 4. Sponge excess within 5 minutes, change water frequently 5. Let dry 10-12 minutes, then polish with cheese cloth/micro fiber and you're done Drys very, very fast. I can see the negative reviews if this were put on non-sealed stone or allowed to dry for to long. If you follow the directions and not a You Tube video, you will enjoy this stuff.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok I used this to grout the new shower and I'm kind of in the middle on this stuff. I loved it because it seems to hold up well and I was attracted to the fact that it doesn't need to be sealed. However I also hate the non-existent window of time to be able to wipe it before it created a permanent haze over my marble tiles. I CANNOT GET IT OFF! And I literally just waited less than a minute to wipe it. Now my row of accent tile looks discolored on one side. Before I started the other side, I got advice from my dad (general contractor) to wipe it right away with a wet sponge and then immediately wipe it with a dry shammy. That did the trick!

I used this product for a kitchen back splash and it did work well but with one exception. It was tough to remove the grout haze from the mosaic tile pieces that had a matte finish. HD does sell a grout haze remover that was very inexpensive and did the job to remove the haze from these tiles which ended up creating an excellent finished product. For the glossy glass tile, cleanup was easy. It does dry very quickly once applied. I did about a 2'x2' area and then immediately started the cleanup process once applied. The grout lines look very smooth and clean. I applied this to 3"x12" glass tiles for about 25 square feet (1/8" grout lines). I used about 1.5 quarts overall. For a larger job, this might not be very cost effective but the convenience of not having to mix the product for small jobs is worth it. Dmac
