Answer:
It depends on the size of your grout lines and how large your tile is. I recently did a small kitchen floor room in a stacked 12-inch tile arrangement with 1/8 in. grout lines. At that rate, 1 gallon could easily cover 400 square feet if used properly with minimal waste.

Answer:
300-350 square feet per gallon. With thinner tile, expect greater coverage. With thicker tile, you'll use a bit more per joint.

Answer:
It won't hurt, but it may discolor it. This should not matter if seal both equally. The grout you used has a sealer in it, so it is unnecessary on the grout. Sealing both will certainly make application easier.

It's always best to test, as some sealants do permanently darken grout. If you can find an inconspicuous place and put a little sealer on, you should be able to judge for yourself after 24 hours.
But that's a color issue, and you're wondering about a structural integrity issue. The chances that this grout will be weakened and not work as well if you get any sort of stone sealant on it are practically nonexistent. Almost all stone sealants are also recommended as premium grout sealers . I know this grout claims that sealing it is unnecessary. I can definitely tell you that adding a good stone or grout sealant over this grout it won't hurt it.
There's one last thing that I want to mention -- this is sanded grout. Typically, you should use unsanded grout on stone. Especially if you really go at it during the application, sanded grout can scratch or cause a difficult-to-remove haze to build up on your softer stones, like tumbled marble, rough-cut slate, or travertine, which is often heavily pitted. But that's not what you asked about, so it's likely you've got that well in hand already. Read Less

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It is not your Dad's grout Fusion grout is different. Read and follow the instructions. Start with a very small area and increase as your job allows. Wet the area with a wet sponge just before you start.I used this grout on a backslash with 1"x12" tiles hence a lot of grout joints. I was able to apply grout to 1.5 sq ft at a time. The good news is that it cleans up easily. A microfiber towel is essential. I used a sponge that has a microfiber side since I was working on a vertical surface. The product has only been installed for 2 weeks but I believe it will be durable. I am a little disturbed by the price but I look forward to using this grout again. October 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Two person job I found out quick that placing this grout is a two person job. It sets up quickly and is harder to clean up than regular or two part opoxy. Its best to have one person take a damp sponge and wet the surface, place your grout, and have a second person immediately do normal cleanup with another wet sponge. having a second person working as a team helps it go much faster and cleaner. when doing it yourself you can only go a small space and then you spend the rest of the time doing clean up to avoid the haze it will leave on the tile. other than that, it have turned out good for me. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bath This product works good. No mess or measuring of traditional powder grout. Just scoop out of bucket and spread. Very easy clean up. July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Turns yellow after a few months Bone grout turned yellow after a few months. Only used customs recommended cleaners on the floor. Customs customer service talks down to their customers and are quick to pass blame. Using the recommended cleaner dissolves the grout into a paste like substance that wipes out of the joints. At first I thought the product was great and recommended it to a few people, but it doesn't last. June 11, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by grout Not available in stores, Amount was way more than I needed for my bathroom. Product is good. I have used it before. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great time saver First time using this product. Followed instructions, found product dries vary fast and is hard to get off tile. Had to work in smaller sections to make clean-up easier. Looks great, saves a lot of steps. May 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Super easy to use I used this for our kitchen backsplash and it was easy to use! (This was my first time grouting too.) I noticed it worked better if I waited just a few extra minutes than recommended before wiping off the excess with the sponge. It allowed the grout to stick better between the tiles and not come off too as I wiped off the excess. I did use sealant despite product saying not needed--it still needed some to keep the sand from flaking off. Def will use this product again. March 29, 2016
