Product Overview

Large Format Tile-LFT Mortar is a general purpose, economical, polymer-modified medium bed mortar for use with large format porcelain, ceramic and natural stone tile. Formulated with a non-slumping formula to eliminate lippage. Large Format Tile-LFT Mortar can be applied to 3/4 in. (19 mm) thick on horizontal applications. Use it for vitreous, semi-vitreous and absorptive tile, including ceramic, quarry, pavers, cement and porcelain, gauged or ungauged natural stone and pre-cast terrazzo.

Answer: 
The max of 100 square feet is good for 1/4 x 1/4 trowel application. For 1/2 x 1/2 (which is more likely for large format tile), the coverage is between 45-50 square feet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty good stuff Upgrading a bathroom with 12x24 tile for both the shower surround and the floor. I purchased this product because it is grey (tiles are grey) and the in store product is white as well as the fact that it is $4 per bag cheaper. Worked well for both applications although I found it a little difficult to attain the right consistanccy. My fault though - I seem to repeatedly mix it a little too stiff - do-it-yourselfer syndtome. March 1, 2016
