This MultiSet 50 lb. Modified Thin-Set Mortar offers good bond strength for floor, wall and countertop tile installations. The mortar can be applied to concrete, backerboard and existing ceramic tile. Mixes with additive (sold separately) for increased bond strength.

Can this be used on 12" granite tiles, on countertops backed with harie backer, mixing with water only? Coutertops are reinforced every 16".

Answer: 
Thoroughly mix 6 quarts clean, cool water and 50 lb. bag of powder together to a smooth, paste-like consistency. When setting over Exterior Grade Plywood, existing finished surfaces and existing tiled surfaces MultiSet should be mixed with 6 quarts of Thin-Set Mortar Admix.
