My computer monitor makes the platinum look slightly blue colored. Does it actually look like this or is it really just a light gray color?

Thanks
Ryan

Answer:
Yes it can but you will probably have to use some blend solution to keep it together..that is the reason for a 1/2 max..because after that it starts falling apart. #lightningco

Answer:
It should work. The only thing I would worry about is that it's being used outside; since the grout joints are over 1", they may crack or break loose with extreme temperatures.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 581 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Inconsistent color This grout is very inconsistent in color. See my attached photos for a reference. Buyer beware! I only used this product for part of my home and ended up ordering Prism grout through a local store. That is a much better product sold by Custom Building Products. Look it up! (This color is Natural Gray.) Home Depot sells Prism but you have to order it. If I could have, I would have waited to use the Prism and avoided this product completely but time was ticking and my tile guy needed grout. April 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Darker than the label, inconsistent coloring Tiled about 30 sq ft in my bathroom and used this grout with my light gray tile. I followed the directions; it was difficult to mix with my margin trowel but I kept at it. The true color was a little darker than the label and several areas were inconsistent. This is typical of grout in general but it was so inconsistent, I recolored the grout with the Polyblend #09 Natural Gray 8 oz. Grout Renew Colorant. Came out fine after that. Grout is cured tough though; no shrinking or cracking. Easy to apply and clean-up as well. February 28, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worked good. But not the right color Worked just fine to do the job in my bathroom. But wanted the color to match the color of my walls. It is much darker. Dried for a day and got lighter than when it was wet. But I'm not happy. March 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good product, mis-representation of color on bag We use non-sanded grout in our art studio for mosaics. I bought this gray based on the color on the bag which was a light gray. Unfortunately, it was a much darker gray, almost black, when dried. We use several other colors of the same brand and have not had this issue. This won't stop us, we will try another gray in hopes of finding a pale one. May 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dark Grey Darker than I expected. It is lighter than black yet I was looking for a light grey to match what I had. February 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cured color lighter than thought Typical grout installation. It mixed ok, but when totally cured and dry the color was quite a bit lighter than what I had expected. I was wanting a darker grey to match the dark slate, but it dried a little lighter grey. March 19, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Average Grout This product was pretty average. It mixed well and was easy to use. It does lighten considerable when it cures. March 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mixes well and dries true to color This sanded grout is easy to mix and the color is just what I expected. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the bag is so big and heavy. I'm a mosaic artist, and I only need a half cup or so to grout a stepping-stone project. If I could buy a 10-pound bag, instead of 25 pounds, I'd be really happy. Note for those who work with mosaics: it's best to work in cool weather; overcast is ideal, but early morning works too. This grout dries at a slow enough pace that you can undo and redo small areas if needed. August 24, 2016
