I have been advised by a professional that I should use a grout with a latex or similar additive to give the grout flexibility to prevent cracking. Does this product contain such an additive or do I need to add it separately when mixing? Thank you.

Answer:
Polyblend Grout can be sealed with TileLab SurfaceGard Sealer. The sealer will make the grout more resistant to staining and will facilitate maintenance. Keep in mind the sealed grout is not stain proof nor water proof. For more information please contact our Technical Department.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The Grout for Kitchen and Bath My contractor is installing porcelain tile in my kitchen and bath. I needed an off white grout that sets quickly and matches the color scheme of my rooms. This product met the needs. August 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality sanded grout! A good quality grout and reasonably priced. Has good workable time allowance prior to setting up. April 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very unhappy with product. I have installed plenty of grout. This time I am extremely unhappy with the finished color! As someone who knows how to tile and grout my work is always perfect except for this time. After I opened the grout bag to me the grout looked light. I dry mixed the grout to be sure and blend the color in perfectly. I had three bags all from the same lot. When I was installing the grout my wife even commented the grout looked light color but we know when the product dries the color will change. As you can see in the photos it is not even close to antique white! When I install grout I use the minimal amount of water possible to be sure and not wash out the grout color. I also use water which has been filtered, to remove the chlorine from it, also to be sure not to bleach out the color. To remove the haze from the tile I use a small damp sponge and get close but not touch the grout lines. I am neurotic when it comes to my tile work and in a 20x20 foot room there is no more than a 1/8" variance from one end to the other. Now I have 422 square foot of lousy grout color. I will purchase and dye the grout, to the proper color, but I should not have to do the extra work and spend the extra money which will be at least $100.00 wasted! This is the first time in 20 years I have had a grout color issue! March 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked just like it was meant to The grout worked well. I had to use it on a mosaic stone counter top and it filled in all of the joints very well. The color was evenly blended and it adhered to the product very easily and well. February 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Polyblend grout for brick repair. I had to replace a few bricks one a column and this product worked perfect without having to buy an 80lb bag of colored Portland, along with sand etc. December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This Antique White grout makes my Sandy Beach tile pop. I want everyon to see my tille not focus on the grout. The Antique White sanded grout accents my Sand Beach tile so you focus on the tile and not the grout. The Antique Whit Non-Sanded Caulk matches to a "T". July 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I tried this product for the first time in a bathroom remodel This grout was the easy-to-use and a great value. I bought enough for the tile job in bathroom remodel. I liked it so much I will use in kitchen and dining room project as well. Great grout .thank you! Signed Todd Meadows April 29, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beware - Color turns out light Finished color does not match color on the bag. I bought Antique White and it turned out bright white, kind of looked bleached. Will have to be re-done with a different brand. Wish i would have done more research on Polyblend before buying. January 4, 2014
