I had a contractor install ceramic wood-like tiles. I bought this grout for 1/16th lines. Unfortunately this grout came out lighter, almost white in majority of the places. Very few places have the true color. Why did this happen and how can I fix it?

Answer:
Color variations can occur in any Portland-Cement product including grout. Efflorescence (whitish powder) can also occur. Typically, a sulfamic-acid cleaning will alleviate this discoloration. For further assistance please contact our installation division at 800.272.8786 option 2

I am grouting a 5 foot x 5 foot area of 4 in x 4 in tiles on bathroom wall. Only the 10 pound size was available so I got it, but it's way too much product to mix up for this little bit of grout work. Figured I'd use what I need now, and save remainder for future.

Answer:
The approximate mixing ratio is 3 parts Polyblend Non-Sanded Grout to 1 part cool clean water. The consistency should be "Peanut-Butter" like. For further assistance please contact our installation division at 800.272.8786 option 2

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 357 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to clean tile after grouting The grout mixes well, however, it is not white color while not dry. I put grout between gray tile, and the mix was kind of gray color, so it was hard to see where tile was cleaned or not. I had to wash tile several times because I had to wait until grout dries to see grout spots on the tile. Also, every time I washed tile grout in between become gray color again. Waisted a lot of time until finished project. I would say that the time I spend cleaning tile after grout was twice longer the the grouting itself. September 13, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 4 hours to remove excess! I used this grout on 1/8" subway tile. I followed the directions precisely. The consistency was like melted rubber. I applied the grout and it worked pretty easy for awhile but my float was unable to remove excess well. It dried pretty quickly and I spent four hours with a wood chisel removing it and trying to form the best lines that I could. I would recommend a tough grout float and small batches. I have never used this grout so I could not tell what the consistency should be. The whole experience was very frustrating. The one upside is that the color came out consistent. February 22, 2016
