Answer:
toothbrush, damp and dry rag and make sure you brush out the grout lines to be free of dust. I also read it is good to remove grease and oil with TSP or something of that nature, but I didn't do it.

Answer:
If you have a ceramic or porcelain tile, to prep the grout, you will need the Sulfamic Acid cleaner. After you clean with the Sulfamic Acid cleaner, rinse throughly with clean water and give it 24 hours drying time before applying the Grout Renew.

Do I need to do anything other than sweep and wipe floors before using the grout renew? It says on the bottle to use the tilelab cleaners beforehand but I'm hesitant about using any harsh cleaners. Also, after applying it, how long do I need to wait before walking on the floors? Thanks!

Answer:
All I did was scrub the grout with a wet washcloth to remove any dirt and junk. The Polyblend went on just fine after that. It dries pretty quickly, I was walking on mine after 3-4 hours without any problems.

Answer:
There is some surface prep that needs to be done prior to applying the colorant but the type of surface prep depends on what type of grout and tile you have. Please contact our technical service department to speak to a Care & Maintenance specialist at 800 272-8786 option 3.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wow! Was't expecting the results to be that good what a surprise. Just moved into a house and this lady was pink crazy with pink grout? Needed to put two coats but great coverage and no no no sign of pink. Buy it! August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product worked Product was a little thick, added a little water to thin down. Wish the bottle size was larger and had a flip top. March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! I love my new grout! We had a dark grout that did not look good with the tiles. The tiles have some coloring, but it all but disappeared with the dark grout. We used Polyblend Snow White on it and now it looks much nicer! It has actually brighten our kitchen and bathrooms. One note that may address some of the negative comments like "It looks cheap" and "It chipped away easily": It takes time to do. I probably spent close to 20 hours on two bathrooms, the kitchen, and entry way. One coat did look like a cheap paint job, but after putting the second coat on it looks great! I could have put a third coat on, but I liked the brightness of the second coat. June 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I LOVE this product. My daughter told me our floor looks "ten years younger". I had a lot of grout to treat, so it took me a while, but it was worth the time and effort. Such a HUGE difference for very little money. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Stuff!!!! I definitely recommend this product!!!! I went on Pinterest and tried every single suggestion for getting my grout clean and white again, but nothing worked. I came across a pin for Polyblend Grout Renew and figured I would try it out. I used a kids sized toothbrush to paint it on and the grout came out beautiful. It was such a success that I bought another color to do the other bathroom in my house. Unfortunately, the person who owned the house before us, did the "handymans special" and clearly did not know how to put tile down. The only challenge for me was when the grout was level with the tile and the space was super thin which made painting somewhat difficult. I kept LOTS of wet paper towels next to me and just wiped up the paint as soon as I was done with one side of the tile. It's a great product to use!! July 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worth the work I have white tiles in the whole house except the bedrooms and living room, so that's a lot of tiles. The grout was black so you could only imagine the contrast and it also made the floor look dirty. I used the grey grout renew and applied with a toothbrush as indicated on the bottle. That was a very bad idea: wasted too much of the grout renew and too much cleaning up. I then bought an artist paint brush (very small) and applied the grout renew with that. It did a beautiful job with very little cleaning of the tile. It took me 2 months of working about 2 hours a day, 4 days a week to complete. I've had so many compliments and my floors look so bright and clean now. February 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We are very, very happy with this product! We purchased new granite counter top and found tile to match for the back splash. However, we made a poor choice of the grout for this tile and this wrong grout changed the color of the tile. For two years we looked at our newly remodeled kitchen, not liking what we saw. We heard about this product and tried it. It was a LOT of work as our tiles are 1"X 2" but it was well worth it. We worked in about 6" squares, putting on the paint with a tiny artist's' brush, then would wipe that area with a damp rag. The paint stayed on the grout but wiped easily off the tile. We couldn't be happier with our new look. February 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FANTASTIC BEYOND WORDS Foor years I have tried everything to clean white grout in bathroom. Some made a little difference, but still dull and yellow looking. OMG, this stuff is like a miracle. It is a paint grout applied with a small brush that makes my floor look like it was installed yesterday. Even my husband, who notices nothing commented on the huge difference. I am now onto the down half bath and again it is incredable the difference. It makes no difference if you get in on the tile, wait a little while and it wipes right off or wipe as you go along. I will then go on to the tile shower with a tan color. I just wish I had found this years ago... February 18, 2014
