I am re-grouting my swimming pool (it is more of a lap pool). Once I grout it how long should I wait to fill it? It is only 1800 gallons. Also do you recommend sealing the grout? If so is Aquamix Sealer better than Tilelab for water? I am doing this on my own and this question and answer section has helped me greatly. Thank you.

looked great, after a few months its almost bleached looking. I have a water softener and I did seal the grout. Could white thin set be bleaching my color when it gets wet? I have porcelain tile and no water staining on it or the glass doors. Just the lower half of the shower where the shower gets most met. when it gets wet the color looks fine, but when the grout dries it looks white now. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
It sounds like a possible build-up of water deposits may be contaminating the grout. We would recommend the TIleLab Sulfamic Acid Cleaner to help with this issue. For further assistance please contact our Care and Maintenance division at 800.272.8786 option 3

Answer:
With almost any stone tile, you need some space, even if it's 1/16 of an inch. Make sure you use unsanded grout for small joints. I've heard of some contractors using joints of 1/32 but I don't think that is code and doesn't leave enough room for even unsanded grout to bond without risking cracks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grout Grout compliments the tile we purchased at Home Depot. No problems March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly as advertised Saw the reviews that said it dried lighter than advertised so we bought a darker color than we planned. Brown Sable. It dried exactly as on the bag. The color of a Hershey chocolate bar. Looks great with the 6X24 wood look tiles. Wouldn't have had the nerve to plan to go with such dark grout, so it was a happy accident. It was easy to use and cleaned up easy. My husband smeared in the grout and I went behind with the cleanup sponge. We've never done this before and were shocked how fast it went. And we are old and slow! (both 60 yrs old) I wish we would've known about the sealer you mix in with the grout powder. So now we move on to Sealer.... Need to check out YouTube for the how to..... Gotta love the internet. September 16, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Uneven color After the grout dry, looks dark and some places, and light color in other tiles, Now i need removed all the grout and regrouting with another grout brand March 22, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BLENDS WELL WITH TILE THIS GROUT BLENDS WELL WITH THE TILE BUT I KNOW IT''S GOING TO BE HARD TO KEEP IT CLEAN, BECAUSE IT IS SO LIGHT IN COLOR, HOW EVER THIS IS MY CHOICE AND I LIKE IT. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by i love the color of the grout.it matches perfectly with the porcelin tiles i purchased from home depotf love my new floor .your sales associates in the flooring dept were very helpful.i wish I got their names. the guys #. AXR3657 and I didn't get the girls name but they were fantastic. I knew nothing when I went in to buy the tiles.and the helprd me all the way thank you carol valeri May 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Goes on easily but test a sample first!! I agree with others that the color of this brand is always misleading but I still buy this brand because it's easy to work with and a difficult grout can be maddening. I usually mix some and let it dry on my tile as a sample to see the color. That's a really easy test to do if you are using a mosaic sheet of tile with grout spaces already included. Honestly, I usually buy another bag after my little test because I hate the first color for one reason or another. So I just consider this brand to be twice the cost that it is and still go with it for my projects. Oh, and if I recall, the grout may need more water than in the instructions. I think it's supposed to be the consistency of thick pancake batter but you better double-check that online. September 17, 2015
