#145 Light Smoke dries GRAY! It says on the back of the back that it can have color variations, PUT THAT ON THE FRONT OF THE BAG IN BIG BOLD LETTERS!! What a joke.

This product had a lot longer work life then most grouts i have used; lasts longer then what is says on the bag; only downfall is that it can have some color variance in it. still a good buy though

This review is actually a follow up to my original in which the light smoke ended up grey. LJ from the manufacturer contacted me and informed me that using well water or water softened with salt can result in effervescence or a build up of salt on the outside of the grout. Not sure if that's what's been happening with all the other reviewers that had issues with color ending up much lighter than advertised. In any case, LJ was very proactive and helpful. Since I'd already sealed my grout with 2 coats of 511, he recommended using grout renew in the light smoke color which they are mailing out to me. All in all a pretty good 'save' from my point of view.

Polyblend #381 Bright White 25 lb. Sanded Grout was easy to mix and handle during tile installation. Dried white. Can't comment on durability because only 3 weeks after project completion. No problems yet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mosaicist Mixes well and dries true to color
This sanded grout is easy to mix and the color is just what I expected. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the bag is so big and heavy. I'm a mosaic artist, and I only need a half cup or so to grout a stepping-stone project. If I could buy a 10-pound bag, instead of 25 pounds, I'd be really happy.
Note for those who work with mosaics: it's best to work in cool weather; overcast is ideal, but early morning works too. This grout dries at a slow enough pace that you can undo and redo small areas if needed.
