Answer:
The caulking material is recommended as a filler for transition joints, I'm not sure what you mean by cracks. I would recommend contacting our technical department at 800 272-8786 option 2 so we can ensure we are recommending the best product for your project.

I used this and many of the thicker sections remained soft forever, never really seeming to dry under the surface.

Not sure if that's normal. I could push hard with my finger and tear in to it at any time, months later.

Polyblend #180 Sandstone 10.5 oz. Sanded Ceramic Tile Caulk is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 495.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent, But not Perfect, Match for Sanded Grout Used Delorean Gray sanded grout on floor tile and backsplash tile in my kitchen. Purchased this matching Delorean Gray caulk to do corners on the backsplash. I was worried when I initially applied it, as it was MUCH lighter than the surrounding grout. After it dried, it darkened a bit, but was still a bit lighter than the grout. It's not extremely noticable, but not a perfect match either. I'm not sure if this was due to the sealer darkening the grout a bit, or if my mix was a bit too wet... but if you are extremely picky, keep this in mind. Otherwise, easy to apply and a good quality product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Used it as grout (even though is caulk) to finish up a small area that my floor guy didn't finish grouting. I like it, easy to work with, not too messy, color matches ok, not exact as the grout, but good enough. The only thing is that it went pretty fast, didn't have enough for just a small area, will be ordering a couple more tubes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Tile Work I used this sanded caulk to finish off the slight space between the tile I had just put down and the baseboard trim. It's great because it matches the Fawn sanded grout I used for the tile, but being the caulk version, it's easy to get into the small spaces you cannot with a grout floater.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Peoduct Works well if you're doing a small area. I used it to grout the expansion joints in my tile shower surround. The only complaint I have is that the color does not match the same brands gray grout mix. I would imagine this has to do with the fact that it is silicone based.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from caulk Match the caulk with the grout and you have to look really hard to tell the difference. this stuff is awesome!!! Clean up is easy and dry time is short. I used the light smoke grout and the light smoke caulk for this particular project check it out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not match the grout! Big bummer. The matching grout is a light grey, this caulk is more yellowish. It is not a huge difference, but if I had used this in a high dollar installation with a discerning client, there would be a problem. In this case it was used in a floor to ceiling big tub surround with all white tile and "bleached wood" grout (light grey). As the look is very minimal and without visual clutter the yellowish grout lines at the corners and transitions do really stand out, which infuriates me every time I look at it because if the caulk matched the grout better the whole installation would look classy and perfect. As it is it looks a little shabby, which is very disappointing. The color was consistently off over three tubes of caulk. I am going to order another tube to see if a new one matches better so I can go over the more visible areas. In my experience these grout matching caulk products are creamier than silicone or latex and so require extra care to install cleanly. It also seemed to shrink a bit more than usual, requiring some touch up after the fact.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sanded Ceramic Tile Caulk Found product to work very well when comparing it to regular caulking. It's best if left for extended periods of time to cure in humid environments. They should make a wider range of colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use This grout worked beautifully to patch areas along the wall when we replaced our baseboards.
