Answer:
The caulking material is recommended as a filler for transition joints, I'm not sure what you mean by cracks. I would recommend contacting our technical department at 800 272-8786 option 2 so we can ensure we are recommending the best product for your project.

I used this and many of the thicker sections remained soft forever, never really seeming to dry under the surface.

Not sure if that's normal. I could push hard with my finger and tear in to it at any time, months later.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 444 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good stuff. It's caulk. This is caulk for the space where tile meets a vertical surface. What can i say? It's caulk. October 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by easy to use, good quality this sanded caulk was excellent. no complaints, easy to use. August 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product and matches my grout I had grouted with pewter grout and also used the grout around my tub. When the tub was full of water we noticed a small crack in the grout that wouldn't be noticeable with no water in the tub. So I bought the matching caulk and used it over the grout around the tub. It worked great and is flexible enough that the crack is sealed up. May 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Match A perfect match to the grout color. Not only a color match, but it goes on just like the grout, grains and all. Due to the caulk being sanded, it is difficult to get a straight edge, even with tape. Nonetheless, it makes the finished product look seem less with the same color grout. Hard to believe it is caulk when u look at it. April 22, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Quality Sanded Caulk This is a high quality sanded caulk. When dry it looks exactly like dark gray grout. Its comes out a bit lighter but dries darker. My house has 12X12 Saltillo ties throughout, and the installers put grout up to the baseboards, which any tile installer knows is NOT done. Expansion/contraction, especially with radiant heated floors, will cause grout to crack & loosen. I have slowly been cleaning out the baseboard grout lines and replacing with this pewter colored sanded flexible caulk. Its not hard, just tedious work on your knees and takes a ton of caulk. I buy it in 10 tube cases. It has remained flexible, and looks great. I give it 4 stars only because of the price - $8 a tube? Really? And not even a 10% knock off for a 10 tube case. Good product, too expensive. January 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Consistency of chocolate milk There must have been a manufacturing error because the at moment I cut the tip off (with no spring pressure engaged) it sprayed the wall October 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Polyblend caulk Easy to work and only minor shrinkage. Skins over quickly and cannot be worked after that. Too sticky. Did a very nice job and color was a good match. September 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Performs well with good color match I was pleased with this caulk to finish my tiling job. It matched the grout color pretty well and went in place without too much difficulty. The fact that it is a sanded caulk actually (inexplicably) makes this messy job slightly less messy, which was a bonus. October 18, 2016
