Answer:
You are on the borderline for using a sanded grout but since your grout joint is 1/8", technically you are OK to use a sanded grout. Less than 1/8", use a non-sanded grout as this will fill the void more effectively. Always use a modified polymer grout product as this contains polymers that will help to prevent stains.

Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. The sanded grout is typically too coarse of a mix to fit in to a tight joint like that. The non sanded grout is what we recommend for a joint less than 1/8". Thank you

Answer:
It will greatly depend on the size of your spacers. The box/container gives guidelines based on tile and spacer sizes. Based on my couple of experiences, plan to use a little more than the directions suggest.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Oyster Grey Color Grout Grout color is exactly as shown on the packaging. Mixes easily and well. Really finishes a tile project August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bone grout Easy to use and work with. Looks great, would recommend April 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Product... I wish I had read the reviews on this grout. I did all my research on the tiles but never thought about the grout. I was fortunate as my tile is a weathered grey and the patchiness blends in so it still looks good. However, I am returning the color I purchased for bath tile as I am very concerned I will not be as lucky. August 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Grout went on easy and evenly. looks great and color was exactly what we were hoping it would be. April 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by it worked fine! After a problem with a Polyblend sanded grout not being anywhere near the color advertized for our floors, we took a chance on this for our backsplash. When mixing the color looked a little darker but i had a much better feeling this would turn out better for the bone color and it did. My only note is it is a bit whiter than we wanted but looked similar to grout applied on tile board sample from tile store. It applied smooth into the joints and cleaned up easily. We sealed the natural stone twice and that made it much easier to clean off the face of stone wiping the stone down about 7-10 times each. One note it tends to set up a little faster than their sanded grouts. Within 45 minutes it was stiffer to work with so make sure you have two people doing the job, one to apply grout and one to wipe done with sponge after the 10 minute setup. July 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by "Bone" matched my new Travertine Tile Perfect! So since I have been remodeling my bathroom I have spend a lot of time in the Home Depot! After selecting Ivory Travertine tile for the shower/tub it was time to pick out grout. Who knew there were so many colors to choosed from...non sanded or sanded... I used the color sample they have on the shelf to match the color "bone" to the tile. Now that I have the finished product it is PERFECT! Thank you Home Depot! April 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Used with arctic storm tile My husband and I used this product on our very first tile project. After we mastered the thickness (best described as thin peanut butter) it wasn't too bad. It was more difficult than we expected, but that goes with all grout. Ended up looking great! July 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It DOES dry lighter, but no complaints!! As others have said, the color lightens fairly dramatically between the time it's applied and when it's completely dry! If at all possible, I highly recommend making a trip to your local Home Depot before you buy AND take a sample of your tile with you!! My local store's kitchen design consultant had samples that were MUCH closer to the actual color than what is shown on the package (and you should never base your final decision solely on the color of online photos). Aside from that, I have nothing negative to say about this grout. I didn't install the tile myself (I used HD's Installation Services) but the results are exactly what I expected... AFTER it dried! When it first went on it was a bit darker than the color on the package, but the next day it was a perfect match to the store sample. But most importantly, if your design includes anything with glass tiles (mine had one row of tile with glass inserts), be sure to use the Polyblend NON-sanded grout. It worked perfectly... not a single scratch and no visible haze on the glass (and/or the rest of the tile)!! I also opted to have the installer add HD's Stain Blocker product, which is added directly to the grout when it is mixed and supposedly eliminates the need to apply a grout sealer after it has cured. That seems to be working well so far and is well worth an extra $10. It works with both sanded and non-sanded grout!! In closing, the Polyblend non-sanded grout worked perfectly for me... and apparently my installer too!! July 27, 2014
