Polyblend Sanded Grout is a polymer-modified, cement based grout that produces hard, dense joints that resist shrinking, cracking and wear. Formulated for durability, Polyblend Sanded Grout accommodates 1/8 in. - 1/2 in. (3­13 mm) joints for interior or exterior installations. Can be used on all types of installations including floors, countertops, walls, ceilings, showers, fountains and pools.

can I make up smaller batches of the grout or do i have to mix up the whole 25 lb bag and how long do i have until it is the grout in the bucket is useless

Answer: 
You can mix up smaller batches as you need them, save the rest of the bag of grout in a plastic trash bag so it will get wet incase you need it later.

Answer: 
If you want to mix smaller portions you can mix 3 parts powder to 1 part water. This should give you the peanut butter consistency that your looking for. If you mix the whole bag you would have approximately 60 to 90 minutes until the grout start to stiffen in the bucket. That open time will decrease when mixing smaller portions. Thank You

Do you recommend sealing? There still appears to be a film on the tiles. How does one remove this to bring the tile color back to original?

Answer: 
There is a product you can get at Home Depot that is called Nano Scrub. This product is by Aqua Mix and you should be able to find it on the grout isle with all the other sealers and cleaners. We recommend sealing to help with the maintenance of the tile and grout. If you have a non absorbent tile like ceramic or porcelain we would recommend sealing the grout joints only.
