I am re-grouting my swimming pool (it is more of a lap pool). Once I grout it how long should I wait to fill it? It is only 1800 gallons. Also do you recommend sealing the grout? If so is Aquamix Sealer better than Tilelab for water? I am doing this on my own and this question and answer section has helped me greatly. Thank you.

looked great, after a few months its almost bleached looking. I have a water softener and I did seal the grout. Could white thin set be bleaching my color when it gets wet? I have porcelain tile and no water staining on it or the glass doors. Just the lower half of the shower where the shower gets most met. when it gets wet the color looks fine, but when the grout dries it looks white now. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
It sounds like a possible build-up of water deposits may be contaminating the grout. We would recommend the TIleLab Sulfamic Acid Cleaner to help with this issue. For further assistance please contact our Care and Maintenance division at 800.272.8786 option 3

Answer:
With almost any stone tile, you need some space, even if it's 1/16 of an inch. Make sure you use unsanded grout for small joints. I've heard of some contractors using joints of 1/32 but I don't think that is code and doesn't leave enough room for even unsanded grout to bond without risking cracks.

Can I add a grout sealer to this product instead of waiting on the grout to dry and then seal it? If so, which sealer should I use?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good color consistancey through out job Smooth flowing not lumpy and gives plenty of time for clean-up. February 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Use only if you like to gamble The color swatches are simply a slight guide as to what color you will actually achieve. I wanted a dark grout, that was not quite black, to go with my black penny tile. However the "New Taupe" dried almost WHITE. I cannot even explain how dissatisfied I am. The whole look of the floor is ruined, and because it is penny tile we have no options to re-stain a darker color. So much money down the drain. The quality control of this company is deplorable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't install myself, but looks nice. Tile guy installed our tile floor. The grout is a nice dark almost black color. It looks great with the tile. No complaints! May 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Inconsistent color This grout is very inconsistent in color. See my attached photos for a reference. Buyer beware! I only used this product for part of my home and ended up ordering Prism grout through a local store. That is a much better product sold by Custom Building Products. Look it up! (This color is Natural Gray.) Home Depot sells Prism but you have to order it. If I could have, I would have waited to use the Prism and avoided this product completely but time was ticking and my tile guy needed grout. April 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not recommended I had similar results as other reviewers, the grout was dark brown when it was first applied but it has dried to various shades of light brown and gray. I will now have to basically paint each grout line with a toothbrush, which I'm sure will be a lot of fun. Needless to say that I am very disappointed in this product and I definitely would not recmmend it. April 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality sanded grout! A good quality grout and reasonably priced. Has good workable time allowance prior to setting up. April 5, 2016
