This Pre-mixed product proved to be a nightmare to use. My professional tile installer with 40 years experience ran into trouble with this product. He used it like he has used grout for 40 years. He troweled it in about 8 feet by 1.5 feet of backsplash travertine space. It hardened within 5-10 minutes. It took over three hours to remove.

Love the fact that this product was already pre-mixed, it saves with time and mess

This grout was easy to use, with no mixing required. No issue making too little or too much. It applied well, but I found that it required a lot of sponge work. Maybe that was just due to my technique? The end result was very satisfying.

This product is very crumbly compared to dry mixes that you add your own water too. A lot tended to fall off the wall. But it did clean up well and looks great after we were finished.

I used this grout to fill in natural holes in french tumbled travertine stone. It worked perfectly on my kitchen floor in one easy step. Cleanup was simple.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by trachy611 Best way to go for small projects!
I used the beige pre-mixed grout for a backsplash. It was a little soupier then I thought but using the grout tool it smashed between the tiles well and dried within 24 hours. Make sure to clean the product off of the tiles well with a sponge before it dries. It was a bit hard to do this, because I am a perfectionist. I used the product with SimpleMat to make the tiling a faster process. If you have a larger project, I would mix the grout myself but for a first time tiler this was the way to go.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by KellBelle Useless! You might as well be tiling with marshmallow cream!
About the only positive thing I have to say about this product is that it comes pre mixed. If you think you will save time and mess by using this obnoxious goo, think again. The consistency of this stuff is similar that of marshmallow cream and equally as difficult to use if you can imagine it. My trawl float did not glide over this like it should have and left a thick, gloppy mess of grout in its wake that had to later be chiseled off my tile with a spackle knife. A job that should have taken a couple of hours turned into an all day, epically laborious event.
For someone attempting her first tiling job, I'm happy to say the project is not a total disaster. It's pretty rough in areas (photo attached for reference) and some touch up work will be needed but at least I know enough now to use the right product for my kitchen job. Save yourself some time and headache and go with the grout you mix yourself.
On another note, if you are having trouble getting grout haze off your tile and don't want to use a potentially damaging acid, try some grade 0000 (very fine) steel wool. It will get rid of the grout haze and polish your tile without scratching.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lindsey Terrible product - ruined my tiles
Terrible. This was my first attempt at tiling and this product ruined my project. All of the tiles are stained with the "haze" or "ghosting" and I have not been able to clean them. We have tried an acid cleaner that has not made a difference. I would never recommend this to someone and am so upset that this first tiling attempt was ruined by a bad product. I will remember to read reviews next time as many people had the same experience.
