SimpleGrout #165 Delorean Gray 1 Gal. Pre-Mixed Grout is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 177.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used this product to grout TrafficMaster 18 in. x 18 in. Coal Oxidized Metal Peel and Stick Vinyl... Used this product to grout TrafficMaster 18 in. x 18 in. Coal Oxidized Metal Peel and Stick Vinyl Tile and it worked Great. The color came out just slightly lighter than the picture above and on the container, but still looks great. Went on fairly smoothly, washed off well. Didnt dry too quickly during installation allowing me to take my time in a larger area. It was a bit sandy for my style, so would be concerned applying on a smooth glass, ceramic or porcelain tile and it causing small scratches. Overall great buy. Will use again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless! You might as well be tiling with marshmallow cream! About the only positive thing I have to say about this product is that it comes pre mixed. If you think you will save time and mess by using this obnoxious goo, think again. The consistency of this stuff is similar that of marshmallow cream and equally as difficult to use if you can imagine it. My trawl float did not glide over this like it should have and left a thick, gloppy mess of grout in its wake that had to later be chiseled off my tile with a spackle knife. A job that should have taken a couple of hours turned into an all day, epically laborious event. For someone attempting her first tiling job, I'm happy to say the project is not a total disaster. It's pretty rough in areas (photo attached for reference) and some touch up work will be needed but at least I know enough now to use the right product for my kitchen job. Save yourself some time and headache and go with the grout you mix yourself. On another note, if you are having trouble getting grout haze off your tile and don't want to use a potentially damaging acid, try some grade 0000 (very fine) steel wool. It will get rid of the grout haze and polish your tile without scratching.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Will be the best for some, the worst for others. I had a hard time rating this product, because it has its advantages and disadvantages. Not unlike every item on the market today with its pro's and con's. The problem is those pros and cons can make this the best product in the world to some and the worst product in the world to others. Depending on the situation. I decided to give it 3 stars because though this grout works great for certain tiling jobs. There are more versatile and easier to use products out there. First off this grout comes premixed and that is definitely a good thing. Saves a lot of time and energy from mixing the stuff up outside. Then lugging it inside where you are laying the floor. Also you will notice it comes in a variety of different colors. Really nice and quite useful colors is I might add and on top of that they make a calking to match every color of grout. This is a sanded grout that doesn't just claim to resist shrinking. Another thing I noticed is that for sanded grout it works great in smaller grout lines such as 1/8 grout lines. Most sanded grouts do not compact very well into thinner grout lines, which leads to problems later, but I have used this in 1/8 grout lines with great success. Also I found that this grout glides under the float very nicely. The cons of this product is that it will leave a haze on porcelain tiles and the haze that it leaves is very hard to remove. I found this out when I used this stuff for the first time and allowed it to dry on the tile. I had to use a fiberglass abrasion tool attached to a drill to remove the haze from the tile with out ruining the tile. This problem can be remedied though. Keep a bucket of clean water and a grout sponge while. Grout a few lines then go back with you grout sponge and clean the lines up and any residue on the tile. Do not let this stuff dry on your tile. Especially porcelain. Also though this grout work for smaller 1/8 grout lines. Its very hard to use on vertical surfaces. You will have more grout on the floor than on the wall. It just does not stick to the float or wall very well. That is the case with most sanded grouts though, which is why they recommend unsanded grout for walls, but if the grout lines on your walls are larger than 1/8 you will have no other option but to use a sanded grout. If that is the case this stuff can be used. You just have to take your time. What I did is I would use a small putty knife to scoop the grout up and basically spackle it on to the float. This why I insured it stuck to the float and when applying to the grout lines on the wall you will just have to use more force than usual. Unlike premixed mortar which costs 3 times as much as bags of mortar you mix yourself. This premixed grout wont cost you very much more than the dry grout. Id recommend this product if you are grouting a ceramic tile floor with 1/8 grout lines or larger. I would not recommend it for grouting walls or any vertical surface. I also wouldn't recommend it for those who dont have a little extra time to clean up the grout lines and all the grout off the tiles as they go.

Literally had as much grout on the floor as was on the wall. It just crumbles and slides right off of the grout float. Also, dries very quickly on tile and will leave a haze if not wiped off right away. This means you can only grout a small area at a time before taking a damp sponge to it. Just adds time to the job. Seems to have a lot of air in the mixture. The day after grout was applied, you can see little holes where I believe the air popped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy and looks great I am not good at ratios, so mixing grout was NOT on my list of items I ENJOY. I used this product before on another project and enjoyed the ease of just getting the job done - does ANYONE think grouting is FUN? Haha! It looks great, was fairly easy to use (seemed more watery/loose than the last time, but that could just be my poor memory as well). I have received so many compliments on the kitchen backsplash since adding the grout. It just makes it POP!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pre-mixed Grout This Pre-mixed product proved to be a nightmare to use. My professional tile installer with 40 years experience ran into trouble with this product. He used it like he has used grout for 40 years. He troweled it in about 8 feet by 1.5 feet of backsplash travertine space. It hardened within 5-10 minutes. It took over three hours to remove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Stuff! This grout was easy to use, with no mixing required. No issue making too little or too much. It applied well, but I found that it required a lot of sponge work. Maybe that was just due to my technique? The end result was very satisfying.
