I purchased a product like this years ago to take broken china and bond to exterior of a clay flower pot. It was used as thin set and grout all in one. Didn't need to glue china to pot ... Will this work?

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 281 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I use this everytime I have a tile project around the house as the competitor doesn't sell small quantities of grout. Perfect size everytime. No waste. October 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor grout I had a small entry way that I needed to finish before the water was turned on at my new place. Without water on site, I decided to try this premixed grout in a small 1 quart container. I've done a fair amount of tile work over the years, probably about 800 square feet, and I've always mixed my own grout for the job. This was my first experience with a premix and if this product is any indication of the quality, I will never use premix again. This stuff is over-sanded and way too dry a mix. It doesn't fill voids very well and is absolutely horrible when it comes to clean up. It sets up too fast, so you are forced to work very small areas and clean up with your sponge way too quickly. It leaves a rough, unattractive grout line. In my opinion, the people who give this product a high rating are inexperienced and haven't used good grout before. September 25, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Grout & Cement Don't Mix Well This product dries quickly on your hands & the tiles. It is difficult remove. It seems to only come in sanded, which doesnot look well on smooth tiled walls. When you go to wipe it off walls, it takes the paint with it due to the coarseness of the sand. It cost $10.97 for a quart sized container. This may be okay for a small project & does shorten the time to set tiles & grout the project, but clean-up is a pain. Also, there are only two colors offered - white & off-white (I think something like parchment.) The small pail dries up & thickens quickly. So, I would suggest only doing small amounts at a time, wiping tiles frequently, & keeping the tub well covered. August 4, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bright White color was disappointing While the product is fine, the bright white was underwhelming. Against white subway tiles it looks like a mid-grey, which is not really close to what the label shows. In the future I'd rather just mix up snow white grout (not premixed) in order to actually get a shade of white. March 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good purchase. This product is really easy too use and clean up. It is premixed and ready to go. March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tile replacement project The products worked great and my project was finished quickly. The HD employee who helped was well versed in product info and was friendly. September 13, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Total JUNK, Stay away! This grout is total trash. Wasted a ton of my time. It is very dry, falls off the tiles, does not stick. Almost everything ends up on the floor. Then the sand in it (yes it is sanded) is very very coarse. The end result looks gray, not bright white. I applied a little bit, got frustrated...came here to read the reviews......did not believe the bad reviews.......went back and tried some more....same result...........got so tired that I scraped it off and returned the product. Then I got the powder type....it worked perfectly! Listen to the bad reviews here! PS: If you have one of two tiles, this product may be for you, but if you want to do a whole wall, get the real stuff - the powder stuff. July 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use and works great Very easy to use, and the results are excellent. This is the second time I've used this product. I had more than enough left over from the first time, but as it had been stored in my shop for about 10 years, where it was exposed to high temperatures during the summer, it had solidified. It may have solidified at lower temperatures anyway, but it is inexpensive, so that was not an issue. August 23, 2016
