This doesn't say float on the bag but it's the same thing as feather finish. Float the floors level and start installing it. Note use a fan to speed up dry time.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DidItMyself Works perfectly!
I just finished leveling out some spots where the rapid set leveling compound didn't flow quite right for me. This stuff worked perfect. The directions are spot on and it is so easy to apply. As I got to the last little bit in the bucket it started to set; maybe a drop of dish soap would have helped that to flow a little longer. Otherwise I am very happy. One tip is to use a large drywall knife in place of a float or trowel.

Easy to prepare compound has an intermediate set speed, not too fast, not too slow, just right. The finish isn't chalky or brittle, like other finishing compounds. The surface is easy to smooth or texture, whatever the job calls for. It takes and keeps a painted finish, giving an artistic presentation. We're currently using this in a historic house, where it is desirable to keep the floors to a specified thickness, and painting to faux marble finish. The end result is perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by maryen good product, poor directions
It is hard to know if the product performed as it should. I only wanted to use a little of it - but the instructions did not give a ratio for water:product nor did it describe the consistency I was supposed to look for so I think I ended up making it much thicker than it needed to be. So I did end up using the whole product to cover much less square feet than the instructions said it would.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by woody Easy to put down but believe the mix only what you can use in 10 minutes
I bought this product to level a couple of small dips in my basement before prior to installing heating pad and tile in the bathroom. It mixed fairly easy and went on smooth. Don't need to work it too much at first application. You can wet the trowel and skim back over after 5 minutes or so to remove any ridges left by the trowel. Overall worked much better than the last patching/skimming product I used prior to installing vinyl planks on the rest of the basement floor. Wish I had found this prior to doing the vinyl.
