I want to use this for latex rubber molds,or plastic molds,or silicone molds ?garden statues ?

I see it has polyfiber in it,Whats the pci on the concrete ?
Asked by: Anonymous
yes you can use it. if you know how to properly care for your molds. Ive worked for 30 years in the custom building design industry. what people forget is its the ones who know the history of the materials we use that set the standards others copy just remember heat will buiid its a chemical reaction, better yet go study upon concrete history past (roman) and present( commercial construction)

will the grey color affect the color of white grout

Asked by: Anonymous
not if you keep the spacing clean and keep of the face of the tiles. Do not let dry on face of tile it;s hard to clean once dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NO don't try it ! Too risky. Try a product like MAPIE Type I Tile Adhesive (a homedepot product ... NO don't try it ! Too risky. Try a product like MAPIE Type I Tile Adhesive (a homedepot product I've used years ago). It doesn't dry quick but dries like a tough caulk, it's very easy to use. I'm experienced with custom mortar mixes (ie to hold stairway blocks) and concrete mixes, also experienced with tile laying (using MAPEI tile adhesive, a truely polymer enhanced product), also hydraulic concrete use. Whether or not directions said so: I've laid down a test area 2 hours ago. I know exactly how to add water best for quick and strong crete (never more water than needed for spreading). It is NOT read for grout after 2 hours. It is crumbly and i'm sure there would be HIDDEN DEFECTS under tile if you walked on it after 2 hr. Furthermore the test area is 6" square, peices cover only 1/2 of it. The dry part is crumbly - DID NOT ADHERE WELL to surface it advertised it adhered to, and the underneath of the 2" sq test tiles is still visibly moist. Let me guarantee you concrete does not like being moved (ie walked on) while crumbly or wet - if the grains move even a little, all bondage is lost: any kind of concrete that's true. Spreading was poor (using 1/4" notch) compared to MAPEI Type I. It likes to stick under trowel (being sand based, it's a kind of friction jam). Poor but possible with allot of it working. "quickcrete for hydraulic use" (a home depot non-tile product) (patching cracks) sets quick and is hard as a rock when it sets: this stuff is crumbly after 2 hrs. I'm returning the 8 bags and i'm having to make yet another trip to homedepot to return - with one bag partly open dang ripoff artists. It's a good thing I bothered to run a test run this product before doing 3 rooms with it !! If you are persistent attempting to use: PLEASE run a test to see what this stuff is like after 2 hr. if it is crumbly at all I guarantee you your damaging your floor if you walk on it to do grout !! Personally: I bet it never sets well, concrete products can be old and not set well - no date on bag to say. I once got mortar (not sand: mortar) from HD that had NO cement in it - the point and tuck I did with it all fell out later and it was embarassing as well as a big cost. The employees told me "no mortar never has cement in it". I later found out the brand i bought is mixed locally and they had lied to cover up their own huge mistake. All that work blown for a lie and incompetence - I was never compensated. lastly, at another store _____ i was urged not to use a different quickset product that it wasnt that good THIS PRODUCT IS RISKY FOR DIY - you could end up buying all the tile and cement and doing the job over - except next time it would be that much more difficult.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked as described I read a lot of reviews that it didn't mix right and set to quick. I didn't find that to be true. Mixed to exact directions it worked fine and dried in 6 hours to handle light stepping until grouted the following day. It could have been grouted same day if time permitted. Tiles precut and mixed in a couple batches this stuff worked great.
