This product gave us the High Gloss look that we wanted for our new bathroom tile. The look is FABULOUS and is very easy to clean. My husband applied it to our porcelain tile walls and hardwood floor tiles with ease. We are very SATISFIED customers! Plus, it has a low odor smell and dries fast between coats. You cannot go wrong with this product!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AJ62 terrible product.
Applied over quarry tile. Went on easy. Applied 3 thin coats. Let it dry for several days before use. Vacuumed the floor and the vacuum left wheel marks. Anything that touched the floor left a mark. Where the furniture was, with the legs covered with felt pads, it looked like it was scratched with a key over and over again. I have to do the floor over again with a different product after I strip it. Stay away from this product. Very poor!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Michelle Terrible, might as well put polyurethane on your tile
Sadly, after much research I chose this product to seal a polished marble backsplash. This IS NOT a tile / grout sealer. It is basically a polyurethane or acrylic top coat. It has RUINED my marble. As an example, the residue on my hands and finger nails is exactly like clear nail polish. The tile has shiny and cloudy spots and looks like a mess. I returned the product and HD called on my behalf, company advised the product is not recommended for marble. But I cannot imagine any tile that you would want to put this stuff on. Tomorrow I am going to try to remove with solvent and hope the marble doesn't etch. Expensive disaster.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by satisfieduser Tile Lab's Gloss Sealer and Finish has worked very satisfactorily on travertine
4 years ago I applied this product to travertine that had been sealed with a matte finish penetrating sealer when installed in 2006. Other than having the tile cleaned professionally and having the grout color sealed, I made no attempt to strip anything before applying the gloss sealer and finish in 2011. It applied very easily, as others have mentioned, and it gave me the best result I could expect. Travertine tiles are bubbly, and they come filled in with a cement. The cement areas always look duller, either before the gloss sealer or after. This was my main concern. But two moderate coats of the gloss sealer and finish produce a very acceptable covering of the cement areas as well as the natural stone. It would gave been even better with a third coat, but my ambition waned.
Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with the product. It has worn like iron, and the professional cleaning I had done recently did not remove a noticeable amount of the gloss. Only 4-6 tiles in front of the refrigerator, stove and kitchen sink ( out of 2400 sq ft) showed significant sealer wear. I plan to finally apply that third coat on the freshly cleaned floors and anticipate extra coats for the highly worn tiles.
I cannot understand the bad results some people have experienced. Perhaps there was a bad batch. Alternatively, the product I used the first time came in a yellow bottle. The lable on the grey bottle that is sold currently reads the same as on the yellow bottle, so I am assuming it is the same product. But, is it possible that Tile Lab has changed the formulation? To be safe, I am testing it on a few tiles first and hoping for the same results I enjoyed from the first time applications.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mountaintilejob So shinny!
This gloss sealer and finish does exactly as it says. It added a "wet" look and brought out the beautiful colors of our slate tile chimney project. Applied it easily in one coat with a spray bottle and sponge, soaking into and forming a thin transparent layer of protection. One bottle was more than enough for the 100+ square foot of coverage needed. Didn't even use half a bottle, so $20 will go a long way! We will definitely use this product again on any further indoor or outdoor tile projects with natural stone tile.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tom777 Just what I was looking for...
I used TileLab Gloss sealer and Finish on my (India) slate tile floors I installed about 4 years ago. I originally sealed the slate with another brand of stone sealer but it was a completely flat finish. The slate only looked its "best" when it was wet after mopping. TileLabs Gloss Sealer and Finish makes my slate look "wet" now and all the colors are beautiful all of the time. I would recommend this for the "wet" look, easy to use, great results, did not darken the color in the slate which was my fear in using a "color enhancer" product. Great product for a great price!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Marie PEELS like old scotch tape ..Totally waste of time and money
We moved into this house in Feb .2014 ,we ripped up the old tile and had new tile professionally installed .. to save a bit i decided to do the sealing myself ..after 2 days of prepping the floor cleaning I bought at least 3 bottles adding more as i went bottles of this sealer....following all the directions I put 3 coats with the manufacture directions ... we moved in like a week later .. I started to notice scuff marks and scratch marks .. we put felt pads under the furniture ... the felt was making marks on the floor.. I scratched the floor with my finger nail and it was coming up like old scotch tape .. I am so disappointed... I will have to re strip my floors they look awful..All my hard work and money wasted....
I added two pictures one shows all the scratches and the other one shows how much it;s peeled up and a chunk looks like old scotch tape.
