Good features like motion detection, schedule based recording of both image as well as video and wireless connect to the router to email the recording. I can remotely view the area covered by the camera. To add to all these there is a capability to additionally save the recordings in the local micro SD card. I am sure to catch the theif if the theif comes to my home one more time. I installed DLink after some theif entered the home and looted during my long travel abroad.

Although others have complained about the setup, it's pretty easy using the Windows-based setup. Purchased this for for much less than the original price, and no other camera offers the same bang for the buck. Noise detection, motion detection, with notifications (if you want them), and streaming audio. Would it be nicer with video and night-vision? Sure, but at additional cost.
I like the fact that I don't have to delve into my router's setup to enable port-forwarding (not all routers have it), and I can access the camera from my desktop or phone.
Not the most powerful, no pan-tilt-zoom, but again, I got what I paid for!

Bought DCS-930L and -932L and they were easy to install and monitor. When I went back to buy more, DLink had discontinued these cameras, added the word "Cloud" to the box, changed model numbers and left me having to pay a higher price for no value added! A 1-minute camera, which works fine for me, doesn't need "Cloud". It's a disappointing marketing move that is causing me to move from the product for no good reason except the seller fixed something that wasn't broken. DLink, Restock the earlier models as they meet a need; the -931 and -932 are over rated for the simple "check on a remote location". Love the product though!

Worked for hours trying to install. Using the install wizard install seemed to work well until the point where one has to save the settings (this never worked). Even resorted to installing as a wired camera. The install worked in the direct wire mode. Picture on the laptop was good and clear. I did not buy this camera for direct wire. I put all the stuff back in the box and it will be returned to Menards tomorrow.

I purchased the 930L d-link to work with my mac book pro and iPhone 4s. I have the latest OS on my mac too. Setup is complicated. I called tech support and waited hours to speak with a Rep in another country. After connecting with tech support on day two, he helped me setup after two hours. I can only check my camera on my iPhone. My computer won't connect with Java 7, it works on java 6. I get a great picture on my phone. I have no motion detection and email notification picture. I'm setup using my wireless network and can only check in using my phone.

This is the second camera I have had from D-Link. First one didn't work and neither does the second. My laptop shows it in the network but their flawed software can't find it and the wait time is 25 min. or more. Needs to go to the trash total junk!!!!!!!!!!!!
