Yes - the H is for hot in this format.... 3C is for cold. Not sure where the 3G comes in, but doesn't seem to matter :-)

We bought a Pr-Pf bathroom faucet (49E) at Home Depot a few years ago and recently it started to drip. Was told I needed to replace the hot water cartridge. I found the original installation instructions and it shows the replacement parts. The hot water cartridge part number is 910-024. Looks the same as the 3G-3H but want to make sure before ordering thanks.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 3G-3H Stem Review; Not a good Substitute Danco lists 3G-3H as a suitable substitute for Pfister's 910-031. As evidenced by other's comments it must work in some other faucets but it was incompatible in Pfister's "Glenfield" standard kitchen faucet (Modell# F-036-4GFS). Physically the same width and length as the OEM part, but, the original stem simply pushes in and is held in place by a separate nut. The 3G-3H shape is such that you cannot replace the nut to hold the stem in place -- and the threads on 3G-3H are not compatible with the faucet.. Danco on-line instructions are generic - not specific to the various stems. January 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Store employee ordered the wrong part. Specifically told employee I needed cold valve, gave him part number from faucet assembly to assist him in ordering the part. I received the valve for the hot side, because of my timeline I purchased another faucet assembly. I couldn't wait to order a replacement part as it was a rental home and I needed to complete the repair. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Price Phister parts are still available Although a lot of plastic is in these stem pieces, they are easy to install and come with new "O" rings. It's usually worn "O" rings that is the reason these faucets begin to drip. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Replacement Only A surprise, the fixture is no longer repairable and it now requires a full replacement assembly. Suggest you replace both H&C at the same time. February 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fifth replacement Replaced at least 5 times it does a few months and then start to leak and breaks in the hot side February 7, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of money After have tried with 5 different stems, I had to buy a New faucet, all of them had leaks. January 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk!!! Do not buy As others have said broke while installing it.. Stay clear and find the OEM replacement.. October 12, 2015
