I ordered the parts at night and was able to pick them up the next morning at my store. The installation was kind of OK following the You tube videos online. I recommend strongly to change the washers and string as well. The washers were worn out and the culprit for the leak.

The nylon construction is not intended for angle handled faucets. It is too flexible. Probably ok for round straight handled faucets

Replaced unit internals as it was leaking. The replacement unit does not shut off tightly & must move handle back & forth until get shut-off. I bought 2 but do not (did not keep receipt) intend to use the other. I went to Delta & have ordered RP25523

Installed two on my vanity sink. One was ok the other was not. Spent about $ 28.00 for both and I didn't want to spend another $ 14.00 to try another one. Bought a whole new faucet like the one I had for $ 22.00. Can you see what is wrong with this picture, $ 28.00 for parts that were no good and $ 22.00 for the whole unit. Will never buy another faucet repair part from Home Depot. Made cheep but expensive.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Matt Very poor quality. Steer clear of this faucet cartridge.
First off, the product pictured here is deceptive. It shows the cartridge as having a brass stem, in fact, the entire stem is plastic. I've been fixing my own faucets for years. I was surprised that I couldn't find anything but an all-plastic cartridge from Home Depot. But I bought it since that was all they had for my Delta faucet.
It was a big mistake. The installation went mostly normally, but when I finished, I found that the handle on my faucet flexes horribly due to the plastic stem. It is very disconcerting and the handle feels like it could break off at any moment.
Only a few days later and water is already leaking for a few seconds out of the faucet after I have turned the knob off. I have little hope that this will last more than a couple of months.
I'm disappointing in Home Depot for selling such an inferior product. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this product.

Bought this stem to fix a leaking faucet. Fixed the leak for a couple of days then started leaking again. Worst 10.00 I've spent in a long time. Seems to be flimsy plastic instead of the brass rod in the Delta part. I do not reccomend this product.

I took a long weekend to visit my disabled mother. She pointed out a leak by the faucet, so I headed to HD to get a new stem. This stem was the only option for this delta faucet at HD So I picked one up.
It installed as it should but unlike the photo here the central handle mount was plastic so as a result the faucet handle flexes and feels like it will snap off. I was hoping to spend time with my family this weekend, but now I have to go back out and but a stem that isn't a piece of junk. I'm disappointed in danco and Home Depot for letting this product pass their quality control.

The part I bought is not as pictured. Numbers are the same and the size/shape matched the original, but the brass portion in the photo is actually plastic on the Danco part I bought (the only replacement available for my faucet at my local HD). This part did not feel very sturdy once the handle was re-installed. A minor issue, I suppose.
What is not minor is this: I installed the part and it leaked from the faucet in the off position. The valve I was replacing leaked from the handle, not the faucet. So, I removed it, checked the seat and spring again, reinstalled--still drips from the faucet.
Not wanting to make the trip back to HD, I disassembled the valve, transferred the inner washer to the original Delta valve (to fix the original leak from the handle), reinstalled, and--no leaks.
If this is the only part available, you are better off buying seats, springs, and washers to use with the original Delta valve. It will not leak and you save 50%.
