The toilet was anchored with one bolt then the anchored side was pushed and broke the base of the toilet and after removing the bowl discovered one side had nothing to hold the bolt in all concrete was broken out in a 2inch diameter. Do I re-drill another hole for the anchor and use a longer bolt?

When it comes to repairing a small section of concrete, I prefer to use a two-part epoxy like JB-Weld or similar. If setting closet flange bolts in epoxy, make sure the spacing is correct as there will be no adjustment once the epoxy cures. Also, let the epoxy cure for no less than 24-hours. 48-hours would be better if time allowed as it will take several days for the epoxy to reach full strength. Once epoxy is fully cured it is stronger then the concrete it was used to repair. Read Less

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Recommended These 5/16" closet flange bolts are solid brass and well made. Solid brass makes a significant difference when it comes to corrosion resistance and the ease when cutting the bolts to length with a hacksaw blade. Brass plated steel bolts take a lot more effort to trim and rust too easily. Do it right and leave the 1/4" plated steel bolts for amateurs. April 7, 2014
