I installed this spout using the slip-fit configuration and found it difficult to get the O-ring clamp tight enough to not leak and very difficult to get the full assembly tight enough on the pipe so as to be secure. Danco's universal design is very cumbersome. Danco's slip-fit only spouts are a lot easier to install. Moen's slip-fit design is much better. Also, the water flow out of this spout is "messy" in that it sprays out more than flows out. I'll stick with Moen in the future.
Positively speaking, I liked the cosmetic design and when given a couple choices my customer chose this spout over a traditional looking spout.

My husband installed the spout in under two minutes. We've had it for about six weeks and it works great! Our old spout had major problems with the diverter/stopper not working and was always difficult to lift up until it finally broke. This one is effortless and is SO MUCH better than the last one! I would definitely recommended this product. Please note too: if you have hard water, chrome can become spotted or pitted over time. However, wipe down the water spots off the metal after showers and it keeps it looking like brand new chrome!

Installation was difficult. The instructions stated that the copper pipe must be between 2 and 3 inches from the wall. Wrong. In order for this unit to fit flush with the wall without gaps is only if the pipe was 2" or less. I had to cut my copper pipe to 2 inches to work. The slip fitting was also difficult to install which required using a pair of Channel locks and an aggresive twisting motion which really marred the plastic, and this was with silicone lubricant to help aid it. The fiinish is beautiful, but because it is chrome plated with "some metal" inner construction, who knows how long this will last. If you are on a strict budget, this might be for you but if not, spend $30 bucks more for a brand name unit that is made from solid brass and is hand polished to a chrome finish.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by wrdotson This spout drips backwards
As any good designer of cups or pitchers knows, the lip design is critical. The shape of the lip is what makes the cup or pitcher pour gracefully and minimizes dripping down the side of the cup.
This spout was not designed by someone competent in fluid dynamics, and it probably was not tested by anyone.
The problem with it is that it tends to drip backwards, that is, toward the wall that it is mounted on, and in my case, that allows some of the water to flow on to the floor. This is because my tub is a claw footed, old fashioned tub. The "standard" spouts do not drip this way.
I do like the look of the design, and the finish is fairly good.

This was one of two spouts the store had in stock without having to buy a complete set. I love the looks of it and it comes with multiple pieces. Problem is no matter how you put it on, it leaks. It appears to leak from the threads in the front of the spout (plastic into metal), near the diverter. Tried to correct the problem on my own, used tape on the threads, goop, etc.., but nothing worked. Ended up ruining it so had to buy a second and had the plumber come out and replace plastic with piping and still had to add plumber's putty to solve the problem. So far, that did the trick.

This was a little bit more pricier than the rest of the faucets. Although the figment wasn't all that great. I should have stuck to Moen
