Customer Questions & Answers

do I need to remove tank for this gasket?

my toilet is leaking from flapper, tried numerous flappers and it continues to run. yes we have right size flapper.
Asked by: leakyflappers
Thank you for your interest in Danco products. Yes, you will have to remove the tank to install this tank-to-bowl gasket. There is another thing you might check on your flapper: check to make sure that the valve that it seals against is free from mineral buildup that might be keeping the new flappers from making a good seal. Use a cleaner formulated to remove mineral buildup to really clean it well.

will it fit Briggs 1.6gpf toilets

Asked by: Lenny
Thank you for your inquiry. As long as your don''t have the type of gasket used on some Briggs toilets, where the gasket has ear-like tabs that connect to the bolt holes, then yes, this should work.

This I believe is the toilet I have Glacier Bay Model # N2428RB/N2428T Internet # 202634188 Store SKU # 340995 2-piece 1.28 GPF High Efficiency Round Toilet in White Will this gasket work on my toilet. I have tried others, universal types that leak.
Asked by: Info
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a parts diagram for that brand and model of toilet, and cannot say for certain whether or not this gasket will work. If you still have the old gasket, your best bet will be to take it to your local Home Depot store, where a helpful plumbing associate can help you find a match.
