How do I access the screw for attaching the Danco 10303 replacement handle for the Moen 96797?

I referred to the instructions on the Danco website as to removing the handle tab with a flat screwdriver in order to access the screw for attaching the handle to the faucet. However, I cannot find where to insert the screwdriver edge on the Danco handle in order to pry off the tab.

Thank you for your inquiry. If you're working with the new handle that isn't attached to the faucet, push on the screw from the other side to pop the button out. If you're working with the handle that's on the faucet, you'll have to wedge the tip of the screwdriver between the edge of the handle button and the handle itself.
