Customer Questions & Answers

Will the Danko Sprayer head screw into a Moen base or should I replace the entire sprayer?

Asked by: SArs
Thank you for your inquiry. Our universal products are designed to fit most brands of faucets, including many Moen(r) facuets.

Does this spray head screw onto the hose. Mine is leaking and I just have to unscrew it to get it off the hose.

I saw where people were talking about having to push some clips in to get it off. Does this have clips or will it just unscrew off the end of the supply hose.
Asked by: Tackdriver
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, there are clips involved, but only to attach the nut on the bottom of the sprayer to the hose. If the nut that is already on your hose is the same size you may be able to skip that step and just screw the sprayer onto your hose.

Replace faucet spray head

Bought this replacement spray head but my old one is fastened to the hose by some other means than a small retainer clip. Can't get it off. I think the old one is a Home Depot brand.
Asked by: DenDad
Thank you for your inquiry. Looking at the picture you attached, you may need to remove the black washer around the white nipple to access the clip.

Kitchen Side Spray Head in Chrome is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8 BUCKS I had this spraying in 42.5 seconds - Okay, I already had my old black one and clip removed. Looks and works much better than the black Danco model 80760. That one barely lasted a year before first, one lever pin broke off, then the other. Pins are too thin/flimsy for the amount of pressure needed to push down the diverter (spring is way too stiff) This one is made different, and like someone already said, it is easier/more comfortable to spray. Even though it is chrome plated plastic (I think?), It doesn't feel like it/no seams that I can see. And for $8.? - I likey

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't last too long, but only choice Just bought one of these tonight because the previous one (same model) failed after a couple of years at most. If you look really closely, you'll see that there's a seam that runs the length of the body just below the head to the base along the front. That seam developed several cracks, for no apparent reason (we don't use the sprayer very often) and would spray water out every time the faucet was used. I bought another one because it is the only option available that has a chrome finish. The other ones are black or white and are even cheaper looking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product instructions should read that the best way to remove existing retaining clip is to push it off with a small flat-head screwdriver at one end of the clip. Otherwise, a pretty good product that sprays evenly. Hopefully the chrome finish on plastic will last a few years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average while I found the ease of installing good, the value is average with other similar products. The quality of materials used in construction of the product will not hold up to daily use for more than a 2-3 year time period. This was my 3rd sprayer purchase in the last 6 years!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad Purchased this sprayer and although it not the best quality material it was easy to install. So far, so good. I think it might need to be replaced in about a year.
