Answer:
As a general rule, silicone sealants do not adhere well to concrete. For your application, we would recommend the use of DAP® Premium Polyurethane Concrete & Masonry Sealant:

Customer Reviews

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by On one of my many trips to the local Home Depot, I purchased this 2-pack of clear silicone sealant, since I had a project that required me to use the silicone. The first tube was great. However, the second tube was giving me problems. While squeezing the handle on my caulk gun I heard a loud pop and noticed the tube had cracked open and the product was fully set within the tube! You can see the crack on the picture I have included with this review. Normally the product is great, but I got a "rotten egg" which made my purchase very bad. Would I recommend this product? Yes ... it's a great product. My normal overall rating would be 5-star but because of this package problem it's only getting the 1-star. It would be great if DAP could find a way to get me a replacement tube. October 28, 2016
