When applied at 70 F. and 50% Relative Humidity, the product can typically be painted with either latex or oil based paint after 2 hours. Cooler and/or more humid conditions will require additional dry time.

Answer:
Assuming that your VCT adhesive is water based, the two product would likely be compatible, however, there has been no testing conducted to determine compatibility or performance between these products.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by worked fantastic. Used it on cement pool decking joint I bough this product, read the reviews, went and got a different product that didn't work, and though what the heck I will give it a try. I was amazed how well it works. It comes out of the tube easily, I wet my finger and it spread easily, clean up easy. I have no idea why any body would have any problem with this product. 5 stars! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not last as advertised I applied this sealant as directed over backer rod to seal my concrete driveway seams approximately one year ago. Now, the product has shriveled, cracked, and pulled away and out of the seams. I live in the mid-Atlantic, so the weather conditions are not so severe. However, at the same time last year, I used Dap 3.0 Advanced Self-Leveling Concrete Sealant for wider gaps, and this product has so far held up. June 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sticks to your finger better than anything else Forget using a dry finger to try to smooth this stuff out. It sticks to your finger better than it sticks to concrete or itself. You MUST constantly wet your finger using a cup of water, and then you can smooth it fairly well. If you are filling a crack that is more than 1/4" wide, the tube will empty out more quickly than you would expect. March 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to apply It works great but the application process is terrible. It sticks to your finger or trowel and peels up when you try to smooth it over. December 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not very good I live in Orlando, FL and have used this DAP Concrete & Mortar Filler & Sealant several times in the past with disappointing results. First I used it about 8 years ago to fill cracks up to half inch wide on my concrete driveway and on my pool deck. This product started cracking and peeling off the surface on its own in about 2 to 3 years after my application. I pressured washed and reapplied a couple of times after that but performance continued to be the same. I just had to use a pointed spatula to peel the old DAP material off my driveway and then went with Sika Crack Flex Sealant (also sold by Home Depot) that really seems to be more flexible and durable. I hope Sika works better for me this time. Not only the sample in Home Depot looked pretty strong and durable, but I was unable to remove the Sika material off my hands in a few days. Caution: Neither Xylene nor Gojo will remove it off your hands. Also, if anybody wants to use the Sika product, make sure it has not expired. Most in Home Depot are expired. I bought eight and three were all dried inside. Take them back for a refund. Sika website tells you NOT to use expired product at all. Good luck everybody. May 21, 2014
