I installed a tub surround where cement board was used versus drywall. The Nails Tub Surround adhesive IS NOT compatible with cement board. I wanted a low VOC adhesive and this product met the bill. The product worked fine. The directions for use are exceptionally poor. The Tub Surround I installed had a "fake tile" pattern where there were ridges on the back of the tub surround associated with the "fake tile." I ended up just applying a thin bead of the adhesive to these ridge lines and that worked exceptionally well. I'd use the product again for installing a tub surround on cement board.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Donny After burping panels for 5 minutes had to tape edges?
Instructions with tub surround kit said to put the panels on the wall after applying adhesive then remove them for 5 minutes then reapply them. In doing that, after first applying the panels it was difficult to remove them (had to use a putty knife to pry them off). Then, when reapplied they did not stick any where near as well and had to be taped at the edges. Thought this was very odd. But after drying for 24 hours, removing the masking tape and then caulking the edges with white caulk the panels adhered well to the wall. Time will tell.

This adhesive is great stuff, no slipping or sliding but you want to keep moving, it works.

I used this when putting in a shower wall. The stuff works fast and so far the wall has not moved or come off.
