Answer:
The consistency is like a milkshake. If there is enough room to create a level surface within the crack that's fine, but do NOT expect it to solidify at an angle. It's called "self leveling" & it's aptly named.

Answer:
This product is fairly runny. A slight grade of 1%-2% might require a second application after 30 minutes. At grades over 3% the product is clearly flowing downhill and I needed to do several applications over the span of an hour to build it up.

Answer:
Since the product applies as a "thin gel like texture", excessive slope may result in the product flowing out of the intended application area. For areas that are in question, a test application would be recommended.

having enclosed part of the concrete porch and it is now 'inside' , I want to seal the old joint between the house concrete slab and the old/now inside concrete porch before I put the flooring in place. In reading one expansion joint sealant I have for my driveway the VOC's are quite prevalent and says use in areas of plenty of air exchange..... so what I am looking for is a self leveling product for inside so I don't have to leave the house open all day.... so are there VOC's with this product that stipulate it being used outdoors...if this cannot be used inside , what self leveling mat'l is available with low VOC's?
Many thanks

3.0 Advanced Self-Leveling Concrete Sealant is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rained exactly 3 hours later. No leaking Used to patch up stucko damaged caused by woodpeckers who had penetrated the waterproof barrier underneath. Painted much better than traditional stucko patch. This product is self leveling, therefore when applying to walls, need to watch for dripping. I simple ran a paper towel over the drips to smooth product into stucko. Lastly it set as advertised and withstood rain with in just 3 hours of application for over 8 hours.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color blind The color gray is not gray at all. Using DAP gray around my pool for expansion joint would match regular concrete but sticks out like a white outline when using next to gray concrete. Don't buy this. Wish I used another brand!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sealant and made the job quick and easy Used this product to seal cracks in a concrete water fountain. Consistency and ability to spread and fill the cracks was spot on. Excellent product and will be using DAP products for other household projects in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really good stuff This is excellent crack repair. Now you can't have huge cracks, they will swallow the tube up. If your crack is big you need filler rod to take up space then a small covering with this and it's sealed. Most cracks you just put a small bead over it and it self levels over crack and done. 24 hours later and try to get it up. Cars, pressure washers don't hurt anything. Also this is flexible for those freeze thaw cycles. Yes it is expensive I like to see at $ 5.00 a tube.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product... Make sure to read the directions. As noted by others, a single tube may not go too far! One tube covered two expansion joints in my sidewalk. I did use filler foam to reduce the depth, but still wanted enough sealant that it would not be too thin & subsequently deteriorate too quickly. It took a few days to firm up, but was not sticky to the touch after the first day. I suppose if you apply in cold or humid weather it could take much longer. The color is a bit too light for my 30 yr old sidewalk. Would prefer a darker gray. The color difference is far more pronounced after it rains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great crack filler, easy to apply I had cracks after ten years where cement met my building. Water could get in and freeze, making problems. This stuff really fills the cracks, doesn't go far if cracks are big. It would be best to find a rope calk for very large cracks to preliminary fill large areas, applying this material on top. It does everything it says it will do, is self leveling, and makes a good seal. I am looking forward to seeing how long this material lasts, previous similar material broke down after about five winters, I believe this to be a superior material based on my limited caulking experience. I have worked for contractors in the past, there is quite a bit of difference in caulk quality. It didn't take long for me to use up over $700 worth of this stuff, but if it does its job that is cheap compared to damaged cement or foundations. I bought a Milwaulkee power caulk gun that does a great job using this material, saves a lot of finger power for a big job, and does it easier since it not only stops when you quit the trigger, it also backs up a bit so there is no drip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This caulk worked exactly as described. Be sure to follow the directions about filling a deep crack with foam caulk saver first. Otherwise, it will take much too long for the caulk to set up. As long as the crack isn't too deep, the caulk will set up and turn into something resembling rubber. It's not difficult to make a neat bead as it settles itself smoothly into the crack. There is no need, nor is it possible, the tool the joint.
