Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I use it for crown moldings I don't use this for kitchen and bath, but use it because of the ease of application and because it says adhesive. I have been using it for crown moldings because is easy to control and I can match it to my paint colors. My thinking was if it was made for kitchen and bath, it would allow more expansion and contraction that wood can go through due to humidity. So for me this works great, but I am not a professional. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not hold up First time application I waited 24 hours as stated in this advertisement. About 45% of the caulk washed out at first shower. I called DAP and the rep told me that I had to wait 36 hours before using the shower. I waited 42 hours after the I cleaned up the first application and the second caulk application washed out after three showers. I bought both tubes at the same time but I can't read the exp. date. Bad experience, similar to what I had some years ago when I tried this product. September 24, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Washes out after 5 dayd Used it to seal drain in bathroom. 48 hours drying time, and lasted a mere 5 days of occasional use before leaking. February 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money...buy better product Used this product around a tub/shower. Removed previous product and prepared surfaces and I took my time because it was tedious and did not want to repeat. Well...48hours of cure time...one shower later and puff...was literally falling out of the corners. I had used the brilliant white and clear at the same time and both products are horrible. I'm sure it would be okay for an area where it doesn't have any water exposure but for a "waterproof seal," it does not do as expected. Sorry DAP if I could give you '0" stars I would. March 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't cure as advertised Similar to many reviews here, I had a bad experience with the caulk not curing after 48 hours. Not sure why HD sells this stuff. Disappointed that the HD rep spoke so confidently about the product. Obviously he never used it. April 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JUNK Read reviews after the fact ! Long time to dry and washed out after five days, JUNK ! Do Not Buy !! March 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not for showers or bath tub Seriously do not use this product for bath or shower. I cleaned dried tub and applied alcohol before applying. Caulk started coming loose in 2 to 3 inch sections and became soft. Thought I had bad tube and bought another. This time I cleaned tub removed caulk and waited 48 hours and even used blow dryer to dry areas. Applied caulk and waited 5 full days to dry. After one week same thing happened with sections coming off. Should not be advertised as bath sealant. Does not work and I wasted many days on this. Bought a real caulk this time! July 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Absolute crud, takes too long to cure Easy to apply, but does not dry quickly at all. It says 36 hours on the label, but then states 7-14 days for full cure!!! No one has that kind of time to wait around for this stuff, particularly in water sealant applications. Also thicker applications will cure even slower. Go with the GE Silicon II instead, it comes in the same size dispenser and sets up far faster, in hours not weeks! May 21, 2014
