Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lisa9753 I use it for crown moldings
I don't use this for kitchen and bath, but use it because of the ease of application and because it says adhesive. I have been using it for crown moldings because is easy to control and I can match it to my paint colors. My thinking was if it was made for kitchen and bath, it would allow more expansion and contraction that wood can go through due to humidity. So for me this works great, but I am not a professional.

First time application I waited 24 hours as stated in this advertisement. About 45% of the caulk washed out at first shower. I called DAP and the rep told me that I had to wait 36 hours before using the shower. I waited 42 hours after the I cleaned up the first application and the second caulk application washed out after three showers. I bought both tubes at the same time but I can't read the exp. date. Bad experience, similar to what I had some years ago when I tried this product.

Used this product around a tub/shower. Removed previous product and prepared surfaces and I took my time because it was tedious and did not want to repeat.
Well...48hours of cure time...one shower later and puff...was literally falling out of the corners. I had used the brilliant white and clear at the same time and both products are horrible. I'm sure it would be okay for an area where it doesn't have any water exposure but for a "waterproof seal," it does not do as expected. Sorry DAP if I could give you '0" stars I would.

I have used the product for years now. I agree that the descrption is a little misleading. However, it is called "Adhesive Chaulk". You should not be using an adhesive to block out water. This is more for sealing around bath windows, soap trays, around the outside of a tub and other bathroom fixtures. I never use an indoor product for wet surfaces. Always use indoor/outdoor as it is designed for more vigorous elements. Most folks buy this because it is the least expensive. You get what you pay for! Use silicone base products to seal out water. I've use this for many other projects and it works wonderfully! Most importantly, the joints where tub & tile meet are always damp! You can't see it and requires days to dry before you can use a product like this. If the area is not completely dry, sealing in the moisture will cause mold to grow behind & under the tub & tile.

Used it to seal drain in bathroom. 48 hours drying time, and lasted a mere 5 days of occasional use before leaking.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by elmer Doesn't cure as advertised
Similar to many reviews here, I had a bad experience with the caulk not curing after 48 hours. Not sure why HD sells this stuff. Disappointed that the HD rep spoke so confidently about the product. Obviously he never used it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RJ WASTE OF TIME. DO NOT BUY. STOP SELLING THIS PRODUCT.
I removed my old perfectly fine caulking just as regular maintenance. Wiped down with alcohol and let dry for a day. The shower hadn't been used in a week prior. VERY dry.
Used this product and let dry for 3 days. Started to use the shower and within two showers its peeling.
The only positive is I can easily remove the product with my finger.
