We used this product according to the label instructions, to seal up a leak around our shower drain. We let it cure as per the instructions (36 hours). 48 hours later, my husband took a shower, sprayed the shower with daily shower cleaner and it reacted with the caulk. We called DAP and despite not having any warnings on the label whatsoever, they say that we should not have used an alcohol based cleaner with the product. They also we should have let it cure for 72 hours. According to them, we shouldn't have used their kitchen and BATHROOM product below a water line and even though it's not, we should not take long showers?!

I'm not sure what happened. I removed the old caulk around my tub. Preprepared the area properly. Following the directions on the back I caulked with Kwik Seal. Everything looked great. I came back to inspect the drying process about 6 hours later and noticed the caulk started to separate. It started to crack and pull away form the tile. I touched it and it was like wet chalk. Wont buy this product again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Joseph This stuff does not dry. Does not stick either. Don't buy it. Waste of money.
I bought this and DAP Kwik Seal Plus with Microban. Used this to caulk around the bath tub. I taped and caulked everything nicely and left it to go to work.
10 hours later that night, I came to check it. It felt dry on the surface so I thought it was dry. Took a shower and the water sprayed on it. It started bubbling up and then it turned into soft paste. All the work went down the drain. This stuff is the worst. Who sell this? Please don't even try.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DIY Mama Do not buy this caulk!
I needed to recaulk our kitchen sink as the caulk was over 7 years old and peeling out/off. I prepped it well, with some elbow grease. Removed all old caulk, cleaned it with alcohol and even blew dried it to make sure it was completely dry. To be sure I waited until the next day to caulk it. Bought a new tube to make sure it would work well. Followed directions on the tube. That was one full week ago. I did not use my sink for 2 whole days and I t took forever to dry, so I made sure not to get even a small drop on it. Fast forward a week later, it still hasn't completely dried which I thought it was. It started to bubble up and turn white like the day it came out of the tube! All my time and effort and money down the drain!!! Now I need to redo it from step one!!!!! I'm so frustrated with this product I'm going to try to return it to the store I bought it from. And I'm never buying this particular caulk again, neither for my kitchen or bath. It's two thumbs down for me and my friends and family will be advised not to use this.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Handyman DOES NOT HOLD UP!
I spent hours cleaning the tub and rubbing it down with denatured alcohol and then let the tub dry out for two days before applying this caulk. Unfortunately, the Home Depot employee suggested I purchase this product and I did without doing my research. I applied the caulk and waited for 120 hours (5 days) before using my shower. The first shower it peeled away and now I will have to spend another weekend redoing the whole job!! Very frustrating as I only have one bathroom and have been traveling 15 miles to my closest friends home to shower while it dried. DO NOT BUY OR USE THIS PRODUCT!!! complete garbage

The caulk is easy to apply and sets firm very well if you know what you are doing. I recommend waiting at least 3 days before actually using any kind of water or liquid on it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lisa9753 I use it for crown moldings
I don't use this for kitchen and bath, but use it because of the ease of application and because it says adhesive. I have been using it for crown moldings because is easy to control and I can match it to my paint colors. My thinking was if it was made for kitchen and bath, it would allow more expansion and contraction that wood can go through due to humidity. So for me this works great, but I am not a professional.
