is this designed to fill and repair drywall cracks that keep coming back?

Asked by: Anonymous
No. This caulking is terrible. You will most likely find that it will dry up and crack itself in a short period of time.

Alex 10.1 oz. Painter's All-Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, Cheap, Product This caulk has been the work horse of all my interior painting projects for last 10 years. Cost effective way of filling gaps and holes before you paint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from use the right caulking you need to use the right caulk for the right job. Baseboards and crown molding you should use a caulk with silicone so that it remains flexible and can flex with floor movement and expansion and contraction. Using the wrong product will give very bad results. Don't blame the product when the wrong product is chosen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product In all my paint and drywall work I allways use this product. Use it around the edge of painted ftim on doors windows or trim. You get a nice clean look. Don't use this outdoors or around a tube or shower. Cleans with water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok. Not the best caulk I've ever used but I think it's ok for a temporary fix. It doesn't hold up very well over time. But for the price I don't think I should complain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use I recently used this when building a mantel to fill in around the ornamental pieces on the legs & it worked great. Dried quickly & smoothly to create a finished looking product. Will use again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Works just as expected great price also like that you can paint over it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Caulk Ever This is the worst caulk ever. I used this when I built my house and in two years it had shriveled up, cracked and dried almost to non-existence. I used some of dap's roofing tar on my grandmother's skylights; It cracked and leaked in less than a year. Worst caulking ever. To put it plainly, you get what you pay for. Junk! Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money for the good stuff. And do your research.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good. After 19 tubes of caulking I got the hang of it and was very pleased with the results. Caulking is a bit messy, but I'm glad I restored my old home and am very pleased with the results.
